It's nice that you're posting games lists of all the consoles, but you can't really claim one is better than the other. I think Uncharted 2, the Last of Us, and that new game all look AND play like movies. I'm sorry bro, but that's why I don't like PS.

That Dragon game on Xbox One is totally possible on Wii U, BTW. Maybe not at 4K resolution, but games like Pikmin 3 prove the Wii U can do alot more than people give it credit for.
The GPGPU mirrors processes twice in a row, while the Xbox One and PS4 don't really mirror much of anything in comparison because their GPUs aren't as fleshed out. The spec talk is BS, but people claiming Wii U is doomed since a while back are looking more and more foolish by the second.

EDIT: Plus, some of those games you listed for Microsoft are Xbox 360. I've seen those PS3/4 games, I really don't give a crap. You can have your opinion, but that doesn't make it right, overall.

Nintendo said "next-gen engine" for the Wii U CoD Ghosts on their Twitter announcement, so that's what I'll go with.

Infinity Ward’s animation lead Zach Volker tells OPM “When we’re talking about a new engine we’re talking about upgrading significant systems within in that engine. We’re not talking about throwing it all away and saying we’re starting from the ground up”.

The reason they're still using the same engine, as opposed to an all-new one, is about what you'd expect given the annual release cycle of the series. "[It's] impossible to develop a new engine from the ground up in a two year cycle”

Nintendo are saying what Activision said,

@SCAR392

I never said anything about Quality or graphics. I'm talking about output between the three console holders. Out of the three Nintendo is the only one who's understaffed.

I'm saying Nintendo's output of games (especially coming off of the Wii) is highly embarrassing when they're only supporting two systems and developing games are literally they're only business. That's kind of the point Nintendo is having a hard time managing between 3DS/WIi U while the others are able to handle two or more consoles with relative ease. Nintendo also doesn't have the luxary to glide on the back of third party releases.

The Wii U is a weaker system with a less fleshed out online system than the One/PS4. That's really not an opinion and more fact. Not necessarily a bad thing it just means Wii U will probably miss out on games again.

WAT!

Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.

First off, the other consoles aren't even out yet, so hold your horses. Second, how many "standard" feature updates did Xbox 360 and PS3 have during their lifecycle? Tons.
Third, 3 CPU(basically 4 if you count the separate OS CPU core) cores with a large GPGPU that mirrors twice, vs. 8 CPU cores with a smaller GPU that doesn't mirror much of anything at all.
As far as I'm concerned, the Wii U isn't weak. It's more reliant on the GPGPU, opposed to 8 CPU cores. The Wii U can do alot more than it is currently, so you're being a poor judge.

Lastly, Miiverse WILL improve.

Sony and Microsoft may have their gameplan on the table so it's easier for you to understand. The only difference is literally that Nintendo has their console on the market while these developments are taking place.

Again, PS4 and Xbox One aren't on the market. Why do you think that is? Do you think if Microsoft or Sony released their console tommorow, that all those features you "love" would be there? If yes, then why aren't they releasing tommorow?
You give way too much credit to things that aren't even available, and that's why Nintendo has just as much of a chance, especially since their machine can do mire than you apparently think. Just wait.

yeah I will say one thing, it's hard to convince people Miiverse and the like can't improve when Miiverse is like 100X better than it was just a few months ago. I honestly would have ignored Miiverse almost entirely if it wasn't for updates tbh.

Exactly. Miiverse will have things like MarioKart TV, community creation, etc. features they've announced that aren't even available yet.
I don't doubt that game DVR function for MK8 will eventually be widespread as soon as Nintendo manages and observes how well it does in house.

Just by looking at games like Pikmin 3 and that Animal Crossing Plaza, you can tell the Wii U is alot more capable than it is now.

People just need to calm the hell down and wait how things play out.

Multiplats are not determined by who has the biggest processor. They are determined by where the biggest profits are available. I'm going to break my silence and say it. Microsoft and Sony being in direct competition can have disastrous consequences on how well the other system will do, especially in the long run. Nintendo offering something completely different make it easier to stand out. Especially since (as people pointed out) their games are different from the others. 360 and PS3 make it even harder since they share the multiplats as well and you have to question how many will take the plunge to upgrade.

If even one of them gets off to a bumpy start thats it. It won't get multiplats unless the company writes cheques. Companies won't wait around for what 'could' eventually get the type of marketshare it had this generation. One generation is not indicative of another, especially in the console market. Don't think just because XBO or PS4 can share the same multiplats they will. If one is going extremely slow, there will be consequences.

The low cost and ease of porting from one to another will make it unlikely for one to stop getting multiplats unless it sells like the Virtual Boy though.
