You're right, it's after Arkham City. 1 year after, I believe.

1 Year Later. Batman loses his battle suit, he is now a weakling again, and goes on a quest to find who stole his Battle Armored Tech Mode.....

You should do some research before developing such a bold opinion.

Baker has one of the better Joker voices out there. Very identical to Hamill's.

At Comic Con, or one other of the cons, he did a read of the Killing Joke monologue.

It's amazing.

Driving the Batmobile sounds like it could be cool. However, I'm getting sick of CG trailers. They never show us very much and games almost never look like what's in these trailers.

Wait has the Batmobile been confirmed as drivable or is it just speculation so far cause if it is drivable that would be beyond awesome.

I hope we see a few unseen villains. If it's the finale, and set after City, then yes we should have the best of the best, but there are so many incredible characters not used.

Got this from Game Informer's website:

As you've probably guessed from the cover imagery, the Batmobile is finally a core element of the gameplay. An entirely new area of Gotham City, far larger than Arkham City, has much wider streets to accommodate the new driving gameplay that is designed to integrate smoothly with Batman's gliding and grappling traversal. Batman chases down super villains Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and more.

I wonder if they will bring Joke back. He died in Arkham City, but he's been in every other Arkham game as the main(ish in City) villain. I wonder especially since this is supposed be the finale game. Baker does his voice just fine too. After using him in Origins like they did I'm not sure it will he the intended surprise though.

@Jaz007 - I hope not, I hate when characters get brought back from the dead. I think Arkham City ended perfectly and bringing back Joker would ruin that. Besides, the Batman universe has so many other great villains that they could focus on. Joker was fantastic but I don't need to see more of him.

Even though I have a PC, I'm still not interested in this. Baker was a lousy Joker, and Origins as a whole felt subpar, especially compared to City. And while the WiiU version was inferior to the others, the game was just bad to begin with. There is no good reason for me to pick this up other than the fact that it's Batman.

This is luckily made by the original studio that made Asylum and City, not Origins.

Is Paul Dini writing this one as well?

Also it's been said that Scarecrow is the main villain this time around.

Obviously you don't read comics.

Haha, nope. Unless you count Peanuts and Garfield.

As much as I love the Arkham series, my knowledge of the Batman universe is very limited. Which is a shame because I'm sure I would have appreciated the games even more if I was familiar with the details.

Honestly I can't see Joker coming back without Hamill I mean yeah they got Baker for Origins but Origins was a younger Joker.

I'm not necessarily referring to Joker, but have you played Origins? I mean personally, I don't see a big difference between Hamil and Baker. I think Baker's performance is as good, or almost as good as Hamil's.

@Jaz007: No I have yet to play Origins but honestly I am waiting for a price drop on it since I have other games that I want to play more right now. So honestly I can't really say if Baker was as good as Hamill or worst or whatever. I am sure that he is good but due to Hamill retiring from doing Joker it just a continuity thing for me for Joker in the Arkham series, but then again that thing bugs me with movies as well.

Joker is lame and overused. Time for Crazy Quilt to get his due.

I fangirled as soon as I saw the trailer. I knew the end of AC was just too open for Rocksteady to not come back and do one more. Though I do hope this is the end for the Arkham games. Anything after this is going to be considered milking it. Besides, I'd like to see Rocksteady move on to something else.

This sealed the deal for me though.... I'll probably get a PS4 by the end of the year.

For those that are interested in Batman Arkham Knight (Game Informer).

-Cutscenes are in-game engine, not pre-rendered.

-"Arkham Knight takes place in the all-new central zone of Gotham City split into three islands, an area roughly five times the size of the map in Arkham City."

-Game takes place one year after Arkham City. Before Joker's death, Batman's other adversaries were usually fighting for themselves, taking advantage of the chaos and pitting their own gangs against each other. Now with Joker gone, many of the villains have teamed up. It starts with Scarecrow threatening to detonate bombs across the city containing a new strain of his fear toxin.

-The demo shows many more thugs on screen than before, some doing new activities like looting, "pulling down phone booths, flipping cars over, and spraying grafitti."

-No worrying where you parked; the Batmobile can be summoned to your location.

-It is equipped with a "missile-like" immobilizer that eventually causes enemy vehicles to lose control and crash.

-"We don't have the time to do multiplayer. We want to focus on making the best single-player experience we can."

-The Riddler traps Batman and challenges him to complete a time trial in the Batmobile through underground tunnels. With a bit of a puzzle element to it, the player must use some sort of radar to remove obstacles, but the catch is with each obstacle removed, more appear later down the track. In the end, the course becomes more and more difficult, forcing Batman to drive along walls, boost off ramps, and more. This is just one of new Riddler challenges in the game.

-Arkham Knight is not just the name of the game and it is not a reference to Batman.

-After freeing a hostage in the above predator section, the aforementioned Arkham Knight breaks in and attacks Batman. With a gun pointed at him, he threatens "This ends tonight." The screen fades to black and a shot is heard. That ends the demo.

I've tryed to keep this spoiler free as possible enjoy.

Also this is the biggest Batman to-date & Batman Arkham Knight is taking everything to a new level to go out with a unforgettable bang.

PS3Trophies.org.

Batman: Arkham Knight takes place in a new central zone of Gotham City, roughly five times the size of Arkham City. It is split into three islands. And while the scale is obviously impressive, Rocksteady’s aim isn’t to make the biggest world, but the richest, densest and most vibrant.

Gotham is also crawling with criminals, reportedly four or five times the amount featured in Arkham City. Riots will occasionally break out featuring up to 50 characters smashing up the city.

Loading screens have been eradicated for switching between interiors and exteriors,

Batman: Arkham Knight is built on what Rocksteady calls a "juiced up" version of a custom Unreal Engine, in order to take advantage of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4’s capabilities. Rocksteady describes Arkham Knight as "a real, genuine next-gen game.”
