While it's not officially confirmed if this is "Next Gen Only" one thing is for sure is that there are no WiiU boxarts.
Given the stance of how Arkham Origins was so well "received" on the WiiU. I don't think we're going to see this final installment of the Arkham series.

Wasn't expecting after they canceled all Origins DLC.

While I'm not happy, I don't think we need a thread for every new game that doesn't come to the Wii U...we'll be here forever otherwise...

Wii u not getting some 3rd party game is hardly surprising, the opposite would be surprising, outside of 1st party, indie and nintendo IP licensed to 3rd parties I really don't expect to see any upcoming major cross platform 3rd party games coming to wii u at all.

Looks like major titles are moving exclusively to next gen machines now.

Well, except Wii U.

Is this news surprising? At least this means I can sell my Batman games since I have finished them but won't be able to continue the series. It was fun while it lasted. I wonder how many people that are actually saying this is disappointing own both Arkham City and Arkham Origins on their Wii U?

this is certainly a shame notnto mention that having this game skip the wii u was one of my biggest fears looks like it came true

Dam I cannot wait for Batman Arkham Knight "Be The Batman" , the Batmobile looks smart & the best part we get too drive it. Rocksteady is back and going by that trailer in style, and I'm definitely glad it's next-gen exclusive. I think it will also be massive and the Batmobile will be instead of fast travel, all we need now is a release date,

Playing it without the Game Pad just won't be the same. The Game Pad was so freakishly awesome with Arkham City: AE.
