I'm trying out this "Vindictus" MMO. It's designed on the Source Engine, which also powers games like Half Life 2 and Portal.
So far, the game's pretty good. It's not exactly fit to my tastes though (no robots...) but the combat is simple and the visuals are good. Give it a try if you want, it's a free game to play.

Trying out a new one, called Genesis A.D. It's a MMO shooter with specialized mobility enhancements (wall jumps, jet packs, stealth, etc.) Vindictus was ok but I think this should suit better to my tastes EDIT: Wow, big file size and clunky installation? Nooo thank you D:
@Tasuki, I agree with you, It doesn't matter if its the number one game or not its the fact that you yourself enjoy the game and that's all that matters. The only problem is the fact that the company may take down that online game like Kart Rider, I really enjoyed that game to bad I never will be able to play that game again.
True but so far the only games I have seen that happen to are games made by lesser unknow companies with the exception of Matrix Online. Stuff like EQ SWG and WoW I dont see as going away anything soon even if WoW is no longer the king of the mountain. There is too much of a fan base but in truth that doesnt really matter. Main thing is if it still makes money it will be around. I mean look how many people left SWG when the new system went into effect they lost thousands of players but it is still around.

Well I'm happy to see you checked out Vindictus. According to the news on the net Dragon Nest and Vindictus will both have starter packs sold in stores alongside League Of Legends. LOL at your "no robots". I don't think mechs and droids would look to good in a Medieval Historical Fantasy setting although Ankama did slip a few into Wakfu via the steampunk medium.
@AlexSays, I've seen this Pocket Legends and I'd love to play it. Does it work with the iPod Touch or just the iPad?
@Tasuki: you're spot on with your points and I agree with everything you've said except that I think that Star Wars Galaxies will die once The Old Republic goes live. Star Wars Galaxies just isn't as good as The Old Republic will be.

Don't worry about buying an MMO pack Phobos, Nexon appears to be adjusting their new strategy to offer Dragon Nest as both a downloadable MMO and a packaged game in stores from what I've seen floating around the internet.

Nexon is also asserting to move onto the PS3, XBOX 360 and Wii although I'd prefer to see them on the Sony NGP and Nintendo 3DS.
I saw that about bring that game out on home consoles in fact that first link is from my local news station lol. Honestly I dont know MMOs dont seem to do to well on the console systems but mainly companies dont give them a try. I know yeah theres been a few but there has also been alot cancelled. Age of Conan and Champions Online just to name a few, Its seems to me that the reason they get canceled though is cause the companies cant agree on a price plan so to speak..
Dont know if any of you guys heard this one apparently there's a Transformers MMO in the works.
Wow, what a small planet we live on Tasuki! I'm quite surprised. I would have never guessed such a thing. I also read that article about the Transformers game and was astonied to learn that it's being made by Jagex the makers of RuneScape.
BTW while I was Hot Topic today registering for an account and buying an Adventure Time T-shirt I also got one of those free ten day World of Warcraft membership cards. Is anyone else here an Azeroth resident that I can team up with this weekend when I activate my WOW Temp 10 day game card?

Free Realms, yeah. I know it's targetted at the young ones, but I'm intrigued to see it on PS3 nonetheless.
I've seen old and young playing Free Realms. It isn't such a bad MMO although I'm just going to stay with Mabinogi, Rift, Warcraft, Dragon Nest, Maple Story and Wakfu for the time being.

I hadn't heard that - but that would be even better for me since I have a PSP and plan on getting a NGP too. That's awesome.
I'd also like to try out that Heroes game that you can play on PS3... but I'm not a huge fan of subscription games, as a rule.
My computers are too underpowered for MMOs, so I really am very glad to see them coming to the PS3.
