Ok, because I can't find a wireless networking adapter for the 360 (and I don't really want to spend 100 bucks on something that should have been there from the start), I plan on connecting it directly to my router. Will I be able to send music and videos and such to my 360 like this or does it have to be a wireless connection?

Also, how difficult is it to set it up like this? Do I simply need to plug the ether net cable from the 360 to the router or is there some other things I need to do before it starts working?

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

As long as your 360 and computer are connected to your router and turned on you should be able to use Media Center without a problem. If you only have one cable I'm not sure if there is a way outside of a USB device.
