Topic: Whose gonna buy SSB4 digitally on Wii U or 3DS?

I have the original 3 all in retail so I will get these next 2 physically.

I'll buy it physical for the Wii U and most likely will do the same for 3ds..

I'm scared that this game will be rather large, so 3DS physical for me.

Well, Sakurai has 8? GB to work with on 3DS carts, and 25? GB to work with on Wii U discs? Yeah, I might just have to go cart.

thats the max limit nintendo will allow right? i heard they will only raise the amount of standard gb in the cart over time but these type of games are the exception obviously

Knowing Sakurai he makes HUGE games and I doubt my tiny 8gb SD card could hold the pure awesomeness that is Super Smash Bros.

I'll be getting the physical copy of both the Wii U & 3DS version. I hope Nintendo holds another release tournament like they did with SSBB, they also gave away Wii systems and SSBB was released that midnight.

I'd rather buy a physical copy, lol. Besides, digital downloads take A LOT OF SPACE.

I don't understand why people would want a digital rather than a physical copy, other than the fact that it lasts longer than a physical disc? (But if we're talking 3DS, there's also another possibly, so if you have a different game cartridge in your 3DS, you could just play the digital copy from the menu. That'd make more sense. Still, I'd rather get a physical copy.)

If I can get my hands on physical copies then sure. If not, I'll go for the e-shop. (I'm predicting it'll be sold out quite quickly if the Wii U sells enough units this year.

Nah I'm getting physical for both. Its just too classic to have on digital though I would admit it would be super convenient.

@Orngeblu: lol yeah. I went last time but I couldn't enter because I was 12 at the time (had to be 18). Other than APEX 2012 it's the biggest tournament I've been to though! My friend ended placing top 32 out of 255 people. Ahhh, good times man. I really hope it happens again so I can actually enter the bracket this time lol.

Digital for 3DS and Physical For Wii U because I dont do digital on home consoles

I think I will buy digitally for the 3DS version. Having it accessible anywhere will be very convenient. I might buy the physical version later though.

Sticking to physical for the Wii U version, in case someone I know is crazy enough to own a Wii U but not Smash. Plus for collector's value.

3DS. Going digital unless the game is huge.
