No. Someone somewhere in the world is probably playing it right now. Let's get the FBI to spy on all DSes until we figure out if anyone is playing SM64DS. Then we'll know for sure.

I do still play it. I never understood everyone's hate for the way the controls work. The D-pad wasn't THAT bad.

I would but i hate that you have to hold a button down to run. WHY CAN"T I JUST RUN AUTOMATICALLY WITH THE CIRCLE PAD LIKE ON THE N64!!!??? That totally killed the game for me!

Unfortunately, that screenshot and all other screenshots showing the characters going through areas that you can't in play in, in multi-player as well as areas that aren't in the game at all are just beta screens.

I love this game. I do really like the controls even though everyone complains about the D-pad.

Maybe it's a beta image? The map looks right, but coins time and health were shown at the top. Yoshi and Mario also never faced Bowser together.

The game is good, but Super Mario 64 is my favorite game ever, and this sort of disappointed me. I didn't like having 4 characters, I believe it over complicated a game whose formula was already great. I do love all the new and extra levels, but I didn't like that they excluded Stars that were in the original version. I didn't like the stylus controls, and the D-Pad was okay, but it obviously wasn't better than a control stick, or anywhere as good. I don't know, I'll always love the original more, that's for sure, but it was a good game. I haven't played it in quite a while though.
