Topic: Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D - recruitment

Awesome, im bout to get home, make dinner, eat and then go off to Best Buy to get it. Should be playing by around 8pm my time. Thanks 3DSisMine...

A lot of people are worried about gettin this game. Its fun, I've played it for 4 hours today. Its still a must buy on 3DS.

I heard that the Resident Evil: Revelations demo was short, but geez. Its almost like and interactive demo trailer. Kinda sad how both the trailer and demo for that game are "meh" at best.

Anyways I've also spent about 4 hours with this game and I can say that I'm very impressed with it. Everything looks and plays well(in 3D). I Still haven't gotten around to trying out 2D mode yet. I agree with the user that said that the framerate can get a little choppy with enemies, but its hardly noticeable. With dozens of locked skills and medals to earn I'll definitely be playing this until and after RE:R gets here!

I've put about 2 hours in and love it. I just wish there could've been more online features.

The developers has said that they will make a sequel if this is successfull and that they havnt even touched on what the 3DS can achieve yet. So it sounds like revelations will be much better and any sequel to Merceneries will be even more of an improvement.
Still havnt got my hands on my copy yet because as always Nintendo Europe like to make us brits suffer by releasing things a few day after every other country, but I am liking what I hear. I think everybody would agree that if a sequel is to be made it would have to feature the following two things - (a) Racoon City & (b) Some kind of online versus mode.

I hope so too. Nintendo did specify that add ons can be added on. So I'm hoping they add a versus mode. I've been having a blast with the game. I know its flaws but I can look past them. I'm just there to have a good time and blow crap up.

Love the game!!! Have to say that i'm playing the game on 2D mostly. Did play with the 3D on yesterday for a bit and it looks awesome. Even playing in 2D, the games just looks spectacular. I'm comparing it to just portables here, but i would dare say that the graphics have to be on par with games from the Gamecube and even the Wii. Dare i say the xbox360 as well?

In regards to the demo, i keep hearing complaints about how short it is, and it's "meh"... well, i loved it. And it was well worth the 5min or so that they let you play it. Just take a look at the graphics, sound(wear headphones) and the lighting in the demo, it's simply just spectacular. Oh, and i jumped on one part, well before the end of the demo.

I kept getting an error code last night though when trying to get online, found a friend and match was about to begin and got an error code that through me out of the lobby. Anyone else getting an error for online play? Forgot what the error# was...

@Gustoff - I've read in a few places that connection errors are kinda common. Try a couple times--I've read that it tends to iron itself out by the third attempt. Granted--no personal experience yet (thank Amazon and their slow shipping for that )

Sorry LosAngeloTip, but you will think it's worth the wait once you get the game. It's awesome and very addicting. Thanks, i'll try again later when i get home. I did try several times, even on global connection...still got the same error.
