Go to the e-shop , search up pokemon x or pokemon y (depending on what version you have). Its a free software patch. @labs

Try to restart X/Y, it hould ask you to update, hit your "Y" button if you get a choice between "A" or "Y", you should be sent to the menu to update automatically.
