I'm a bit late to say this, but for future knowledge. If you don't have a friend safari with either of those pokemon for metal coat you can get it off magneton in lost hotel. In there you can use a compound eyes first pokemon fainted, with a frisk pokemon in second as per normal routine. However it might be helpful to use a fainted static pokemon instead of compound eyes to get more magnetons and less other pokemon in lost hotel.

@Leftwingzero when you soft reboot the game when hatching eggs do you get all 5 n save then hatch or restart from before you get the eggs?
