Okay what am I doing wrong D: I am trying to catch Zapdos.. and whenever I fly to where it's supposed to be it moves. Can I not fly? Have to walk or something? It wont stay still :L

pick one town, and fly to that same spot, over and over till it appears on a route directly connected to it

Did you play heart gold, or soul silver?

@ChelsAngel try entering and leaving a town to a route a bunch of time and check your pokedex often to see where he is at. keep a pokemon thats level 40-70 with max repels on to jump on him quickly. try to avoid flying around but if he doesn't seem to get closer flying may help.

edit: you'll also have to find him 10 times before he goes to sea spirit's den.

I don't want anything for them I was catching them as I discovered pokemon in my safaris.

You have to run into it about a dozen times, it'll settle down in a place called Sea's Spirit Den, which is on Route 12. You'll need to use Surf to get there.

Is there a way to change your safari friend type or is it just set when you make your character? Mine is flying and I just dislike that. Hahaha.
