I know I am going a bit O/T here but does anyone think that the post game content seems a bit light? And no I am not moaning about it.
They spread it more I think, Pokémon box will come and I think there might be downloadable future content. As there is a hiker in a hotel who gives a souvenir from a region far away Kalos, and he speficially says that this region isn't Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh or Unova. It's gotta be a new one. Seen the low number of current pokémon in the pokédex Gamefreak/Nintendo might have planned a second region in this generation which might (or might not) be in this game (in the future) as downloadable content.
Fc: 3737-9607-4865 IGN: Robbert Friend safari type: Fairy pokémons: Swirlix, Kirlia and Floette. Also looking for Articuno/Zapdos still. Got all starters to trade. Also got pikachu with Volt Tackle and could get ditto's with it's hidden ability right away.

I Agree with your theory but I think we have to unlock more mysteries of this region first before we move on.
