Guys, I'm quitting MH3. D: I've officially put Revas to rest. I have too many other games to play and other things to do to be able to hunt like I used to. I still love the game but it takes too much time and it's getting too darn repetitive for me to enjoy it as much as I used to. I'll probably get back into MH when the next game comes along, hopefully on a console I own.
Happy hunting to you all.
Noooooooo!! Say it isn't so!!!! ( ducks and runs )
John 8:7 He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
@Splat and Chucko Sorry I d/ced and at the worst time. My net kicked me off and I can't get back! D: I got back once but it kicked me again before I could tell you. I'm trying to fix now. btw I blame Revas for this...

No worries. We repelled it anyways. So you didn't miss anything. Next time we're on let's do some jho farming!
Getting on right now. Hoping to do some Jhen+ runs if my nooby peco armor isn't too noobish
@Peach: So a wired connection is completely out of question, huh? 'cause I'd imagine that'd fix your d/c problems. You could find a 100ft cable if the Wii is that far away :3
I did some Jhen+ runs today, enough to have the materials needed to upgrade Guan Do, 7 ElderDragonBlood, and 6 Earth Dragon Gems I did a couple of runs with a really nice party, who all knew what to do and when to do it. But then of course, they all decided to leave one by one...
I finally got all the Barroth Shells needed for the Ian+ set... Now all I need is a ruby and a (normal) spike and I'll be set
^_^
The question is what armor to try for next... I'm thinking Lagi+
Edit: I'll miss you Revas! Even though I hunted with you like... Twice ;P
I'm on now! I basically am ready to do about anything today. Btw, Jhen + is still here.

I had to go and probably will be off for the rest of the day. If I do come back on, it will be pretty late for sure.

Not to be a buzz kill, but HM was here day one :0 Bye Revas, it was good hunting with you. Hopefully I'll find you online in MH3G EDIT:... Wait has JayArr already left too?
To be honest I'm also a little fed up with how Capcom treated MH3. If anything it's just a testing ground for the new MH gameplay and monsters, then they put all of it into the portable version which somehow is the definitive MH experience. The endgame of MH3 is mindlessly repetitive and boring (like a bad MMORPG) unless you have a good group of friends to play with - and then really you're just delaying the inevitable realisation that the game has so much lost potential.
Not putting down our times together though. They were some of the most fun I've had in an online game ever.
Here's hoping they bring MH Frontier or a very improved MH3G to the west.
Also, watching people zooming from HR 0 to HR 51 in two or three weeks really got me for some reason. The game is pretty poorly-paced if that's the amount of time it takes to finish it. I'm sure it took me a lot longer than that to reach 51. Probably because at the time, me and JayArr were some of the higher ranking people on the servers so we couldn't get help from people who were higher than us! It was true pioneering days back then. Good times. But that was just temporary and the game is a breeze because of BARROTH URGENT HELP PLZZZZZ. I'd say we were lucky to play the game when it was still new and everyone except the ex-JP players were below HR 30 lol. Ranks actually meant something back then.
I don't want to turn all you newbies off from MH3 though. It's an amazing experience while it lasts (and it lasts a long time) and is totally worth it.
