You probably don't have very high VR yet. Wait until you earn some more. Then you'll rage as 5 or 6 people use it on you.

if i was in first place and lose solely due to lower placed players using it, i consider me winning the race, i dont give a crap what the game says in that case

I've never used it. The people who use it are always the people who are unbelievably bad. It was so funny once in the NL Community. Somebody used the glitch (Can't remember their name) and skipped ahead of me (It was just the 2 of us racing each other). He was so awful that I actually managed to catch him up and beat him by a good 10 seconds. Unsurprisingly, he rage quit immediately after.

A good strategy when playing random online, is that if you have a group of friends, wait in the back so the potential cheaters have less of a chance to get shrooms or stars. And basically, try to push them off if they're trying to perform the glitch, either by ramming into them or shelling them. I've actually knocked down 2 potential glitchers with the star as they were about to take the leap to cheat. LOL worth it.

The guy who discovered this glitch should have kept his big trap shut. I know it would have been found eventually, but it would have been nice to have at least a month with the game before the glitch was discovered. I've forgotten what it's like to have an actual race on the course while interacting with other players. Every time I race the course online it's like I'm doing a time trial because everybody is 30 seconds in front of me.

Did anyone notice the video on the Nintendo Channel showing a Maka Wuhu time trial? An odd choice by Nintendo to pick that particular stage. At first I thought maybe Nintendo was going to show the glitch, but it looks like they were using the opportunity to show players how to actually race on the stage without cheating and use some skill. But I do wish Nintendo would admit to the glitch and let us know they are working on a fix (if they even are). It reminds me of the TvC BP reset dilemma where Capcom kept quiet about it as fans complained for months and one day they finally said they were working on it the whole time and it was fixed.

Not true. Once you get higher VR, you'll encounter racers who use the glitch but are great racers anyway. It's awful.

So that means they just never want to lose. But this way? IT'S A FAKE.

Arg, I never lose there unless a meet a glitch user and I don't pick the course because of that, sadly someone has got in one of our streetpass group's 5 communities, we keep leaving on them lately and they are clearly able to play and I'm afraid I don't know him. I go from first to second and I tried ramming someone who was trying and winning, it only made them try again because first place was not mine for long.

On any other console and a glitch of this magnitude would be fixed. I say "this magnitude" because it seems to me it is making that whole course a joke. I'm on the verge of purchasing this and hearing about glitches and people cheating isn't actually good PR.

okay so EVERY of my opponents online is using this glitch right now. that's why i will use it now too. though i hate this glitch. it really makes the whole course a joke.

the worst thing however is that SO MANY people are voting for this track!! last time i raced this track 3 times in a row!! wtf??? this is not even funny anymore. so many idiots online -.-

there's at least one person voting for this in every lobby now, and they usually suck enough to fail to pull it off on their first few tries. at this point i use the glitch every time, just because i know that if someone voted for the map that's what they intend to do; no one votes for maka wuhu unless they're a cheater, and i don't intend to let them win!

what's really annoying is that after the race is over the same dip**** keeps voting for it over and over in a row. why? you already cheated and had your fun. i personally think it's the weakest map even without the glitch and it'd be 10x funner to play anything else. i do not see what could compel someone to cheat the same map over and over again, even if they do suck too much to win otherwise.

either way, if maka wuhu is in the voting roster the game always goes right for it like a magnet, to the point where i power the system off to avoid playing it over and over. don't release an online game if you can't patch it. just dealt with that crap in goldeneye....

Oh and I think the problem could be solved a different way. Instead of patching it any players that don't use the glitch would get blue shells throughout the rest of the game!

@romulux: they're doing it for the VR — there's a gold part unlocked when you hit 10,000. that's the only reason i'm bothering with online play at this point — thankfully most of the groups i've been a part of haven't been choosing maka over and over again :3

I'm refraining from going online on MK7 now until it gets a fix. I'm sorry Nintendo but you screwed up here, people are constantly voting for it now and then what do they do, fly off the edge into the abyss just to land at the top with a 10 second lead. If you can't play properly, why are you playing at all?! Get the heck off you good for nothing pain in my butt! D:

I actually have fun in Maka Wuhu... I didn't learn about the glitch 'till recently.

i played this morning and had to leave a lobby because of maka wuhu voters, found a nice one where everyone behaved and then... 3 maka wuhu'ers joined and kept voting for it every time. they flooded the votes to the point where maka wuhu got selected every other race. who'd have thought 10 feet of missing fence could ruin a game's entire online experience?!
