@Tryken: snaking as we knew it in MKDS isn't possible. the little boosts you get from drifting aren't dependant on hitting left and right on the D-pad, now they're in terms of how fast you're going and how sharp your angle of drift is. I'm told it's more like how the drifting system works in MKWii, though I haven't really had the chance to sit down and play that one, so idk for sure :3

Ah, snaking was so fun to do...

I don't know how anyone could know this is a glitch and not some secret thing that was put into the game intentionally by a nefarious programmer, and I don't get why you don't fault the developers if it is a glitch. If a game has glitches, programmers weren't doing their jobs. Glitches should not be considered acceptable. If you bought anything else and discovered it was defective, you'd take it back to the store and get your money back. If we did the same with software, maybe the companies would wake up and start doing their jobs rather than releasing broken junk and thinking that was okay.

Ugh, I hate when things like this happen. Looks like a level I can't pick online because people will abuse it.

It's just one glitch! jeez...

It's a pretty big one! If it were a few seconds like the Wuhu Island glitch then that's fine (still shouldn't be there). When it's 30 seconds... it doesn't take much to know that it's a big exploit.

I feel forced to use it now.

At least it isn't nearly as bad as the Grumble Volcano ultra on MKW...although I don't see nearly as many people using that than the Maka Wuhu ultra. Maybe players with higher VR have more respect for each other and don't need to use ultra shortcuts to win? (My VR in MK7 is rather low ATM, I'm at about 2700 now)

If the 3DS has not been discontinued SM3DL and MK7 are awesome games, but if the 3DS has been discontinued Sony has taken over the world. It is not true that both Sony has taken over the world and SM3DL and MK7 are not awesome games. Therefore:Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 are...

This glitch is really getting on my nerves. Nintendo just needed to extend the wall along the edge there or put up an invisible wall keeping players away from the glitch water.

If people use the glitch just because "everyone else does", then more and more people would use it and it would be even more of a pain. The best thing to do is avoid it completely.

Yesterday evening I was racing, and guess? Someone was choosing only Wuhu Mountain Loop (Maka Wuhu was the American name I guess). From the first time i saw that, I already knew he was going to use the glitch. And when we where racing on the map, he did it. The worst part? He already had over 3000 points: Or he has been using this the whole time and is a complete douchebag, or he was afraid I was gonna blow his mind with my skills (little joke there.). So YES, I hate when people do it.

If I'm lucky enough to get triple bananas early, I'll lay them where the cheaters use the glitch. It messes them up and sends a message that I know about their stupid little cheat but I'm choosing to take the high road.

i wonder whose the idiot who found it? i hate it, if someone else picks that course, i know there going to cheat, so i just cheat before them:P but if im playing a community, we all know not to do that, because if you do, YOU HAVE NO LIFE!! (little dramatic, i know) play the game the ways its supposed to be.

Darra from Ireland uses the Maka Wuhu glitch!

You have been named and shamed, whoever you are.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

2 people I was racing against (both in different races) chose Maka Wuhu... But they didn't use the glitch. God, that was a relief there.

From what I can discern, the preferred Maka Wuhu etiquette seems to be much the same as the manners that are agreeable in other areas of life: Don't be a dick.

I don't use it because it doesn't feel fun and fair. Also, I've met NO random people online that use it. I think the majority of people don't know about it or don't want to use it because they feel it takes the skill out of racing.
