hacking = cheating. That's all there is to it. I don't play with cheaters. I'm not going to say any more than that.
Not really. Like I said, I hack in Smash Bros. Brawl but what I hack IN NO WAY affects gameplay. Heck, Smash Bros. Brawl is the only game I hack and use homebrew. I see no point personally in 'hacking' GE because what you hack in GE is mostly for cheating and altering gameplay. Brawl-wise, you can cheat, or just texture and music hack and the latter is what I do.
There really is a distinct difference between hacking and cheating.
Okay, allow me to clarify: hacking in the sense we're talking about in Goldeneye = cheating. I don't care if you only use it when you're pissed off at someone or if you only use it to get things that aren't too far from your current level, it's still cheating. It's like saying. "Oh, I only hide cards up my sleeve when I'm tired of losing." or "I only took a three-step head start"

lol Exactly. If you can't win or get back at someone through skills.. Well, tough. Plus, why get mad? It's just a silly game.. Well, it's a great game... But still
So I was messing around with lightfoot on multiplayer to see how much of a difference there was tonight. One player had lightfoot the other didn't. I used the jungle from a door on one side to the door on the oppisite side. This seemed a practical application and something i do frequently. Results. When walking I would say lightfoot led to about a 4 arms length edge from without. Running I noticed no difference between the two. I never ran past the non lightfoot character. Maybe in a longer stretch it would have been more relevant. I guess in a course of an entire stage it would make a significant difference in how far you travel but im not sure its worth it over the other perks. Also I run alot and if theres no difference in running speed between the two than thats just another reason to go with something else.
"you NL guys seem to be all for close ranged turkey shoots all moving at max speed doing a graceful dance of death around the enemy." goldeneye 4770-1803-5463
