@Rich Yeah, well you can do whatever you like I 'spose.

We could just do it as a weekend thing if you want, just use a gun/sword only on the weekend. I tried it by myself, and I think it would be quite fun with a team of four together taking down a Rathalos with a Light Bowgun lol. Also maybe not focusing on leveling up as such, but just having some laughs having our asses kicked.

Sorry, was out drinking in Manchester last night so thats why I didn't show up. Busy most of today, but might be on tonight. Got to go to the allotment tomorrow morning, but should be back about 1pm.

I read the recent posts and did any of you actually make a new account? Also is anyone going to be going on today?

I made a new character. Have just been going through the offline mode to get used to the bowgun. Been really enjoying it so far. I see myself getting a lot more hours out of this game just by changing the weapon I use.

I'm going through the 3* quests at the moment, and once I get my Peco armour and a bit more practise, I'll hop online. My new character's name is Fuzz, and I might try and hop online for a quest or two during the week.

OK, for some reason I now cannot connect to the internet with this game. WTF? Error code 11607,which is something to do with router settings. This has never happened to me before. Was happening on Thursday too, but I thought it was a temp thing. My router settings have not been changed since I last went on line. Any suggestions?

Woo, fixed it! Taking Wii apart means you have to remove a battery that stores internet settings etc. I had to go into the connection settings and agree to some shat about Wiiconnect 24 before it would work. At least I know for next time now.

Also, just in case anyone is interested. The reason why my Wii buzzes is all because of Monster Hnnter Tri. The CD is thicker than all the others, so it has stretched a spring in the CD drive that means all the other thinner disks now cause the vibrations. Guess thats what you get for leaving in in the Wii for almost a year solid. Grr. I ordered a new CD drive to install which will fix the problem for ever.

So is anyone gonna be on tonight. New characters or old. I just want to hunt with you guys.

I can be on for a fair bit since my mum is working nights now.
Also, playing GE at about 1am is really fun! If you ever get the chance you guys should really come and join, so much fun when you can play with the rest of the NL guys.

I have a week off work coming soon, so I plan on using this time contsructively and build myself up a melee character - should I try for something relatively sensible like a hammer or greatsword or something utterly specialised and ludicrous like the lance?

really enjoying bowgunning at the moment. Just beat Barroth, and I think he's easier with the bowgun, in the sense that I rarely got hit by him. Might have to hop online soon.
