Is this even possible now after the shutdown of the Wi-Fi Connection service? And if so is there any use left in it?

@Nancy: No problem I know you are new here so I thought I let you know since you probably didn't know that. Even though it is out there that kind of stuff is not allowed to be discussed on this site. Thanks for understanding.

@eviLaTtenDant: Yes it is still possible. Some really awesome people reverse engineered how the Nintendo Servers worked and created their own custom servers that we can use. The only way you can do it though is if you softmod your Wii which is really easy and there is virtually no risk in doing so. I'm going to be writing a guide soon on how to connect to the new servers so that we can play. But in the meantime, do a google search for Softmod Any Wii Guide by Mauifrog for the best Wii Softmod guide. Then do a search for Wiimmfi. That is the new server name. If anyone needs help or wants me to talk them through it just let me know and I will be more than willing to help.
