I think the Switch was made for pinball action. The gamepad was perfect and now the switch just makes it even more so. I really hope they use the rumble features to make the tables even more immersive.

@CaPPa I understand that. Until they prove otherwise they may have to earn a lot of trust back. They have said that porting their tables to the Wii U proved more difficult then other systems. So far though everything I'm hearing about the Switch makes porting easy so I'm hoping that means no more waits or missed tables.

I own all the tables on the Wii U and absolutely love the game. Didn't care for it as much on the 3DS. I don't feel the need to buy it again on the Switch, unless perhaps there are a lot of new tables.
@Burning_Spear I don't know about a lot but the Wii U didn't get at least 10 or so across Star wars and Zen Pinball 2
Actually Wii U didn't get Antman, Portal, the Fox tables, 4 Star wars tables, the Alien tables, women of marvel, those futball tables, and the more recent Bethesda tables. That alone is more then 20. That's not even including some older tables that the PlayStation and Xbox got.
I was really annoyed with the glitched leaderboards on Wii U and wound up not playing the tables as much because of it. The tables were really cool, but major glitches like that are just unacceptable to me and really make me lose faith in a company, so I'm not sure I would ever buy from them again.
Don't forget The Pinball Arcade! Not a huge fan of Zen, but the Switch really would be great for pinball. I could finally play TPA on the go on a decent sized screen with actual buttons, instead of having to use my iPod Touch.

I, too, would prefer this to Zen--Zen feels too much like casual pinball (it's very, very difficult to lose a turn, compared to the coin-op/PP variety).
Of course, I do enjoy a few tables (a big fan of the Fantastic Four and Cap America), but I'd vastly prefer something like Cyclone on the go!
@Spoony_Tech I'd have to see how many new tables were released on the Switch. I doubt I'd buy old tables again just to have them on the Switch.
PS3 and 360 owners got all their old tables for free on the PS4 and XBONE versions of the game. I would assume they'll do the same for an eventual Switch version for Wii U owners.
@Angelic_Lapras_King I really hope so but I have a strong feeling they will say the architecture is so different that they won't be able do offer an import of currently owned tables. In other words the other systems have the same online systems from both generations of consoles. Now if they can link through the Nintendo network somehow and see that we have already bought tables then maybe it will work.
Another reason I don't think it will work out well is because on the Wii U they had to split Zen pinball 2 and the Star Wars tables into 2 separate apps where the other consoles had all tables in one app.

I'm sure they'll think of something. Like either whatever system Nintendo uses to let us rebuy our VC purchases at a discount price (Like Wii to Wii U) or updating the Wii U game to make such a loyalty thing possible.
Pinball FX 3 has now been announced (same as zen pinball) so hopefully that will come to Switch, although so far not confirmed. It does say this on their FAQ page on their website though:
"Is Pinball FX3 coming to Nintendo Switch?
Stay tuned for announcements. Zen Studios is a huge supporter of Nintendo platforms (we even had the MOST Wii U content on the eShop). Thank you for your patience while we work out details with Nintendo."
With "most Wii U content" they (Zen Studios) mean they have the highest number of DLC of all Wii U games on the eShop?
Let's see... yeah, they're right.
Zen Pinball 2 — 45 DLC's
Minecraft Wii U Edition — 41 DLC's
However, Zen Pinball 2 has all DLC tables/packs in two variations and one of each is a free preview, and it seems there's nothing new coming for Zen Pinball 2, while Minecraft is still getting updates.
The useless crown of having the most DLC is soon to be handed over to Mojang.
