Topic: Zelda save files gone. Help maybe?

I got about 15 hours into zelda breath of the wild. My friends came over and wanted to play. So, like any other single player game, i started a new game. When they left and i wanted to play and pressed continue, all the save files were autosaves from when my friend was playing and my saves are nowhere to be found. Is there any way to get my saves back. If not this is very stupid. Literally every Zelda game before this has had a better save system with 3 different games. Not just a small amount of temporary save files that get overwritten by auto saves by playing for 10 minutes.

@elclid Eek. I think you need to create a Switch 'guest' account for such instances. I tried the same with my friend, but the moment it asked me if I was sure because it would overwrite save data, I declined...loaded my game and fast travelled to the temple of resurrection.

I think the game always saves at least one manual save file.

So remember to keep the manual save up to date.

Defiantly make a guest account. I'd be terrified to lose my game saves.
