Hello. I thought it would be good to share some things about the new Zelda game to help players out, especially if you do not know what your doing. If anyone else got things to say to help others at the start, anything I might have also forgot to mention, say them here.

Note: The following may contain spoilers.

1. Not along after starting and walking around, you'll get your first Main Quest. I advise to follow the Main Quest as much as possible at the start before exploring.
2. After unlocking Runes in the game, you'll be able to use Amiibos. To use Amiibos, you need to first go to options to allow the use of Amiibos. Than switch to the Amiibos Rune and activate it to use. Each Amiibo can only be used once a day before being able to use again. Amiibos drops 3-5 items. Zelda Amiibos also drops a chest with a random item.
3. Gather as much Apples, Mushroom or Meat as possible. They are the basis of all cooking recipes and combining them alone provides good starter food.
4. Look out for spicy fruits, as they provide cool-resistance properties to your food when combined, which is necessary for entering the cold climate area of the Plateau.
5. Reaching the top of the tallest part of the cold climate area and speaking to the old man, will give you the cold-resistance clothing item. Alternatively can be found elsewhere if you didn't receive it before completing the last Main quest on the Plateau.
6. When using discovered weapons, use the Bokoblin weapons as they are easily discovered as well as being destroyed. Keep the more unique items to yourself for harder foes.
7. Spears are useful against shielded enemies or tougher, dark skinned Bokoblins.
8. After the Plateau, it's recommended to tame a Wild Horse. Wherever there is Wild horses, there should also be a Stable nearby to Register your horse.

That's all I have got to share at this time.

Pretty good tips for starting out. I wish I had came across this earlier.
