So far I played the first level and I have no huge complaints. The framerate felt very stable and only once did I notice a bit of slowdown, but definitely not a problem. It looks stunning and I still find it hard to believe a system less than an inch thick can play games like this.
The game itself is fun. I don't play online and I had no problems with the CPU controlling the other player. It wasn't getting stuck anywhere or playing badly and it even came to heal me pretty quickly, too. My only slight moan is with the sensitivity of the aim. I find it extremely sensitive and I set it almost all the way down and it's still a bit twitchy.
I don't really use the Switch for handheld, but I will give it a go if I have a chance. Time is short these days, which is why it's been nearly a week since I checked NL and saw your reply. Less and less time for gaming
I went on a binge and bought a few Switch games.
Diablo III
Grandia HD Collection
Ori and the Blind Forest
Castlevania Anniversary Edition
Contra Anniversary Edition
Space Harrier
Yooka Laylee 1 & 2
Baldur's Gate Enhanced 1 & 2
My latest purchases are Starlink for 8.50 cents, Lego Harry Potter collection for 15 bucks, and Team Sonic Racing for 20 bucks! All great deals! Especially physically!
