Treated myself to STEAMWORLD QUEST: Hand of Gilgamech as it had been on my eShop wish list since launch and is currently reasonably discounted. £16 and change.
Also, can’t wait until Tuesday and the launch of the Universal Monsters table pack for PBFX3. Have loved CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON and MONSTER BASH whenever I played the real pinball machines.
EDIT: Grabbed the new tables as soon as they went live Tuesday morning. Awesome.

Monaco - Very fun local/online multiplayer heist game
Tangle Tower - Detective point'n'click with very innovative dialogue options
Hive Jump - well it was only £0.40! Alright though, platform shooter that can be played by up to four players

On a whim I just decided to buy One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 on the eShop.
I'm not a huge One Piece fan, but I like the main cast well enough, and I figured the game would be a decent enough way to experience the story without having to plow through 100's of episodes (I've only watched the beginning through Arlong Park, and the Davy Back arc through Thriller Bark).

Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD. My kid was overjoyed, since she remembers playing SMB on my old Gamecube. We've already spent several hours playing it, and it's hilarious fun. It's too early to compare it to SMB 1 and 2, but the magic is still there.
