@Joeynator3000 I think @antdickens changed the name of the NX sub-forum into Nintendo Switch, all threads in the NX/Switch sub-forum are inaccessible. The URL doesn't seem to work properly.

I'm sure they'll sort it out eventually

Other threads seem to work for me, it was just that one thread...also noticing that other threads with old posts are becoming "unread" randomly.

Anyways I added to the title, everyone can freak out here.

Where's the HD (Hard Drive) Nintendo? I get it - you supply your own, like Wii and Wii U. But how portable will that make the console then? How can you cart around your complete Switch eShop collection if they are all on an external HD? Surely it won't be a large compact flash or SD card? :/

It could just be that the creator decided to delete it because just because.

I very much doubt this will even support hard drives.

I really hope this comes with a huge SD card if they don't support HDDs, I don't want to go back to buying physical.

This thing is a portable first, a home console second.

Hard drives have no place to exist in this equation.

I'm sure SD cards can be big enough.

So most leaks were confirmed right and most of my fears still exsist. I don't like the idea of detachable controllers. The system doesn't look very portable, notice how no one put it in their pocket. Skyrim was cool but that was running on pre-Wii U hardware, so I am not too excited. We will see if the software line up sells me but the hardware didn't get me excited

The dock in the trailer did appear to have USB ports on it....

SD cards currently go upto 1TB (AFAIK) at the moment - at about £500+ Obviously the price will come down ovwer time. Maybe large games will only be available in cart form, but eShop titles will likely get bigger too.

@DefHalan: I guess you could always remove the controller units and store them in separate pockets.

Why would you want to carry that big, expensive screen in your pants though.

I think it looked nice. It seems really thought out if the trailer is right. Local multiplayer and splitscreen both confirmed on the go. I think they are on to something, ad long as the price is right.

Only two triggers? Need to have a closer look at the back and top/sides...

So, new Mario Kart game, new Splatoon game and new Mario game. Anyone hyped for this?
