Is anyone planning on playing this indie game when it releases in a few weeks? I remember first reading about it years ago and I was intrigued by it’s surrealist stylization and witty humor. The gameplay looks like it’s inspired by the Mother series and the battle system looks interesting as well. Also, Matthew Fox (creator of Undertale) apparently contributed to the game’s music.
Currently reviews seem all over the place. Exactly like Travis Strikes again, with reviews on the same day, crazy. I had really hoped it would be something everyone would love but I always felt something was just a tiny bit off playing demos so I'm not shocked. Still really looking forward to it though.

The game has been controversial for years since the earlier trailers. I'm not surprised.
They went silent for over a year, some people thought it was to address early criticism, but when they came back it doesn't seem like much changed.
the whole thing reeks of self absorption. as an ideology, postmodernism is rotten to the core, devaluing everything so that the stupid and talentless, just like the founders of this movement, can feel better about themselves and on everything.
