Topic: Why I think Youtube and Netflix could be locked behind the online service

What I find strange is the Switch uses 15%low battery 5%low battery, like the low battery warning you get on an Android tablet.

@NEStalgia Tablet batteries are supposed to last a few years. Plus, the batteries in tablets are not designed well, with some only lasting a year even if you treat them well(not running them flat).

Would I be right in assuming that they will announce the appsin a NintendoDirect?

@DannyBoi there is literally no way any of us would know. Could be in a direct, could be a random announcement in the middle of the night like the recent labo one. Just wait and see

@redd214 Somehow I think there is a problem with bringing Youtube and Netflix to the Switch. Hulu and Nico Nico came relatively close toeach other and it has been a while since they released.

Put this way I could care less of those services as you will need Wifi access to use them and if places don't give you wifi access they are not worth it and considering you'll be burning battery life rather then gaming that wouldn't be for me. The services are good to have but really you should be gaming on the NSW that's what it was made for.

@SwitchForce Hmm, judging by the TC, he doesn't seem to understand this and is parroting the same thing over and over again.

I honestly think this thread should be locked before TC makes it worst for himself.

@SwitchForce Netflix has download for offline viewing but yeah I have never used Netflix on a gaming console because I use them for gaming also.

BUT that doesnt mean others wouldnt use it, its like a common app thats on everything except the Switch
