Nintendo struggles IMO to launch services but I feel certain someone has figured it out. I purchased a preorder subscription from AMAZON for a one year of service. Upon doing so in AMAZON it stated in my order details it would be available 9/17 at 8pm PST. I woke up this morning and it now says 9/18 and 8PM PST.
Has anyone gotten the online service to work? Can it be purchased in the online store? I thought we got 7 days for free, where are the NES games? Is there an emulator / APP of sorts that needs to be launched first where I will find the library of games?
They haven't given a specific time but it's 19th Sept in UK so that suggests no earlier than 4pm (on 18th) Pacific time. In general never trust any release dates from Amazon
The thread at the top of the forum here has the info in it. The 6.0 update hits around 5 PM Pacific time. Then after the three hour scheduled maintenance period to the eshop, the online goes live.
