Topic: What Games Would You Like To See Localized For The West?

As the Switch continues its march past the install base of Sony's platforms in Japan (namely the PS4 and Vita), it's fair to assume that we gamers can expect some great games from Japanese developers over the Switch's lifecycle. Unfortunately, not all Japanese developed games make their way to the West, whether due to logistics, religious conflicts, budget concerns, etc. Which is why games like Dragon Quest X and Phantasy Star Online 2 will never come westward, despite fan requests and online petitions. However, as the install base for any given platform grows, so does any publishers' interest in expanding their catalog of games.

With that said, what games (that are currently region-specific) would you like to see localized for the West?

Personally, my eyes are on Work X Work. An rpg made by some of the folks behind the Earthbound series.

Snack World Tjerarers, Yokai Watch 4 and Work x Work for me.

Level 5 being super slow in their localization works are another worried nail in the coffin

I think we been pretty lucky most great titles have seen western releases. back in the ps1 days n even with the ds era there were so many great titles I wanted to be localized it was really frustrating how many didnt make it. that being said I havent found too many let downs with the switch (so far anyway)

Soma Bringer. Anyone remember that game? Nope, because it's pretty obscure.

It's a DS sorta-action RPG made by Monolith Soft. Never got localized to the West, which is a big rip.

Same goes for Xenosaga I & II on the DS, if they brought those versions over and Xenosaga Episode III in one package, that would be rad.

Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill

I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!

Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.

Dragon Quest X would be nice, but unlikely. I would also like Nintendo to localise (or preferably remake) the three Fire Emblem games which haven't been released in the west in any form: Mystery of the Emblem, Genealogy of the Holy War, and Thracia 776 (and if they could port Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn while they're at it, that would be grand).

Edit: I forgot Binding Blade

Higurashi no naku koro ni hou - to be honest i don’t know much about this game but i liked the anime(watched it years ago though, like 10 or so when i was in middle school). In case it gets western release i will get it day one

Secret of mana collection - the only game from the franchise i played is heroes of mana and i quite liked it , collection on switch would be a nice way to check other games from the series.

Any RPG made by Nippon Ichi Software - so far NIS America is bringing all of them to the western audience and i hope it stays this way as it is my favorite game developer

I can take Monster Hunter XX and Undertale off the list.

That leaves the
Secret of Mana Collection,
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII,
and the Nobunaga's Ambition games.

The Famicom Detective Club titles. Only the second game got a fan translation.
And if possible a new interface. Those games have an interface like Snatcher where you have to choose a lot of options to find that one you were looking for.

Another company has decided to take on the task of localizing Japanese games for Switch.

I like where this is heading.

If I remember correctly, they did Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked for the 3DS, so hopefully they bring us something good.
