I’ve never played the pixel junk shooter series, I’m hoping the Switch version of Pixel Junk Monsters 2 looks as good as the PS4 version. The gameplay link below show’s the PS4 version but hopefully gives us an idea what to expect.

Pixel Junk Monsters 2 and Football Manager announcements on a Friday evening. The Switch is absolutely flying. What a huge win Football Manager is.

I had seen the rumour about Football Manager, with the South Korean ratings board leaking information. It is indeed a huge win for the Switch and will also mean not having to invest in the tablet versions!

@OorWullie Ah cool thanks for that. Though this game from what I just looked up released last year? I assume there will be a 2019 game in the works so I am a bit confused as to why they would port last year's game and not this year's. Seems like an odd decision.

Has anyone else played PUBG Mobile yet, now it's available across the world? I just played solo using an iPhone X and I am in two minds as to whether it would be a game I would want to play on the Switch. Part of me thinks it would be cool to see on the Switch as they could use the mobile version as the basis for the port just without touch controls. However, the game does look like crap on a small screen and I do wonder how that would translate to a bigger screen experience. I am interested in seeing how Fortnite runs on mobile as that maybe the better game to get on Switch.

@subpopz There is motion control available but you are right, normal touch screen isn't too good. I especially found driving incredibly annoying to get used to. But they can remove all that and use an Xbox One like control scheme if this came to Switch. That said, I still managed to kill 4 people and come in 21st on first try.

I'm not sure how it would work, or if it would work as a crossplay experience, though Fortnite mobile I think is with PS4/PC isn't it? I can't play that on iPhone yet but I have registered for an invite so I will try that once I can. I get the feeling Fortnite maybe the better suited game for Switch though.

@DarthNocturnal It would be "Everyone but PS4 servers".

@YummyHappyPills Yeah. As much as people tend to ignore it, Switch is a direct competitor to the PS4 (especially in Japan) so Sony allowing crossplay between Switch and PS4 is about as likely as Sony allowing crossplay between XB1 and PS4.

Alright so here is my mission. I want a copy of DOOM on Switch to effectively replace my PS4 copy.

However, I'm not happy about the huge file size to download, I mean I'll live but hey.

@YummyHappyPills DOOM is currently on sale in the eShop (-33%). Unless another retailer has a sale, the answer is probably no. But I think you knew that already.
