@SLIGEACH_EIRE Didn't they say a while ago that they think Switch is an ideal platform for mid tier games? I think we'll see a lot of that stuff come over. In fact, TWEWY: Final Remix backs that up.
I think we'll see stuff like World of Final Fantasy, FFXII the Zodiac Age, Secret of Mana remake, etc. come to Switch.
As far as their bigger stuff, I think the Tomb Raider Reboot and Rise of the Tomb Raider are possible. The Kingdom Hearts Remix Collection and 2.8 are also quite possible I suppose.
No way in hell FF7 Remake or their Avengers game come to Switch. Kingdom Hearts III... maybe, but it wouldn't be until well after the initial release elsewhere. Even then I kinda doubt it.
Anyways, as for the Ubisoft quote, that statement is dependent on how you define it. Ubisoft is claiming that because of Mario + Rabbids being a major exclusive and it being the best selling third party title.
I'd argue Square Enix is the most prolific supporter of the Switch. In that sense they could be defined as the "biggest" Switch supporter.
@IceClimbers If Koei Tecmo localized all their games, they'd blow Square Enix out of the water easily. But yeah, here in the west Square Enix is probably tops.
@IceClimbers I think Square Enix is doing the best for exclusives and creating a completely different library for Switch than other platforms. But in terms of traditional support, it's rather disappointing to be honest at least based on what we know so far.
I'd prefer more stuff like Crystal Chronicles and Octopath Traveler than them wasting time trying to get FF15 on the console.
I doubt KH3 will come, but if it does, I hope we get the HD collections, though they seem exclusive to PS so I may be unaware of whatever legal stuff might keep them there.
I try not to throw up too much news in this thread, but I haven't heard a peep about this. Fear Effect Sedna is launching on Nintendo Switch on March 6th.
Has anyone else lost a ton of space on their MicroSD card after putting it in their Switch? I put in a 128 GB card and after a restart only had 119 GB of storage.

@Strix Humans think about numbers in base 10, the decimal numeral system, because we have 10 fingers and 10 toes. That’s why the parts of numbers are called “digits” — just like the parts of our hands and feet.
Computers, on the other hand, think in base 2, the binary numeral system.
Herein lies the root of the issue. The “brilliant” marketing gurus at data storage companies decided early on that all their products should be marketed in the decimal system, since that’s what consumers understand.
Therefore, one megabyte on their products is equal to 1,000,000 bytes, and one gigabyte is equal to 1,000,000,000 bytes. To a computer, however, a megabyte is 1,048,576 bytes and a gigabyte is 1,073,741,824 bytes.
Thus, for each gigabyte advertised in base 10, you’re actually receiving about 70 megabytes less than a gigabyte in base 2.
Take a close look at the box your hard drive or memory card came in, and you’ll notice asterisks. Look for the fine print, and you’ll see a disclaimer stating that the figures are stated in base 10.
It's basically because we as idiot consumers are trained in a form of mathematics that use 0-9. Computers use 0-1.
So to us, logically, a megabyte should be no different than say, a kilogram, or a kilometre. 1000 of the smaller unit.
But for computers a megabyte is different because the mathematics is different.
By the way we do maths, yes it SHOULD be 128GBs. By the way computers HAVE to do math, its actually a little less because 1GB for them in binary is bigger than 1GB for us in decimal.
I spent a lot of time doing binary mathematics once. It's fun. Octal can go die though.
