@Ryu_Niiyama Oh yeah, Blade Strangers looks great. I'll probably day one that too, but I doubt I'll see a physical copy

I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.

Mario + Rabbids is a no-brainer for me. Being a fan of X-Com, Commando and other tactical games (Advance Wars ) I just can't let this one pass.
I have no idea how such a stupid game idea turned out to be the best-looking game right after Odyssey.

Mario + Rabbits. I liked xcom quite a bit but was never fond of the aesthetics, so this seems right up my alley.

Skyrim maybe, never played it. I played Morrowind and Oblivion but didn't really like the latter as much. So we'll see.

Rocket league probably.

Skyrim for sure, Rocket League a strong maybe, RE:R sometime down the road but not day one.

For some reason I haven't pulled the trigger on a RE game since the original on Playstation, so I can't promise I won't back out of buying this one as well, but I'm interested.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.

Probably none on that original list are day-one buys for me. I will almost certainly get FIFA at some point in the Switch's lifetime, unless a better PES magically pops up. I'd like to play Skyrim some day, but I'm not in any hurry - especially as the release date is so close to Xenoblade. I'd check out the RE Revs too, possibly.

Genuine day-one third party buys, though, would be Dragon Quest XI and probably also Shin Megami Tensei. Monster Hunter XX, very likely.

Well 2k18 BB and wrestling are day one. I am a little torn about BB since the whole online only for day one and physical later date in the fall. I hope they give us that release date before the game comes out. It depends on how long of a wait it is before the physical release. Fifa I plan on getting I still want to see reviews and more gameplay footage. Revelations 2 I plan on getting. That's it for me unless we get another announced game. I want a good FPS so bad on the go. It's ridiculous we don't have the option yet.

In addition to having bought Disgaea 5 and Fate/Extella day one, the same will go for Xenoverse 2 and One Piece Unlimited World. I'm 2 for 2 on third-party/Nintendo right now, as I can't play ARMS, didn't enjoy Splatoon and other Nintendo games I do like are on the horizon but not here yet. And technically Rabbids, since it's still Ubisoft

None, because I don't think any of those I'm interested in - FIFA, Rocket League, Skyrim - will be priced attractively Day 1. FIFA will probably be £59.99, and I already have the other two on Steam.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

@gcunit What do you mean by attractively? I know Skyrim costs 59,99 in Holland, but does include all of the DLC.

I want :
1. The Sims 4 (Curse you, Sony ! I have to buy PS4 for playing The Sims 4 console version)
2. Dance Dance Revolution on Switch (with songs from DDR X3 until DDR Ace)
3. Bokujou Monogatari for Switch.

Nothing coming up I really want, I'm not much of a Rayman or Skyrim fan, FIFA can rot in a trash heap for all I care, RE: Revelations I'm on the fence about, and anything else I don't want or I have on PC.

As for what I'd like to see, Street Fighter 5 on the go with the DLC included would be day one for me.

Mortal Kombat XL would be nice, but I don't see it happening and the online is pretty inactive as it is.

(Edit: Forgot Mario+Rabbids was 3rd party, I'd get it quick if it's 40 euro, but we'll see.)

@Grudgebearer Well the base game is €5 or €10 these days, it's a six-year-old game after all. And even the remastered + DLC is around €35 on other platforms.

@Anti-Matter Wait, you're blaming Sony because EA didn't release Sims on the Switch..?

Octane

MFD

@Octane True, but are we to boycott it then, since we're being overcharged compared to the rest? I mean the same goes for XV2 and plenty of other third-party ports coming to Switch.

@Octane
I do like The Sims 4 on console, but Damn... I have to buy ps4 in order to play that game. (mixed feeling, happy, angry, disappointed, worried, etc)

Still no info about Switch version, so I have no choice but buy the ps4 version. If in the future The Sims 4 make a debut on Switch, I will gleefully jump from from ps4 version to Switch version. Because basically I do like the games, but don't like the machine (ps4) due to negativity that still remains in my heart. I play my ps4 games by rent on my local gameshop, I don't have ps4 machine yet but in my heart, I wish all my ps4 games appear on Switch. So far, 2 titles from ps4 (Overcooked and Portal Knights) will be my games on Switch despite of still being digital download.

@Grudgebearer I'm not saying you should boycott those games. But personally (as someone who doesn't care for portability), price is a big factor for me. Many games are €40 nowadays, I personally think that would've been a perfect price for Skyrim. But I don't work for Bethesda!

Octane

MFD

@Octane I do agree with price being a big factor, and I'd say that counts for the majority of gamers. An example, if I may: I could've bought Xenoverse 2 on Steam for about 25 euros, but I held off to buy it on Switch for full price. Both to play with people I know via Switch, to support third-parties on the console, and to break the cycle of "Third-party waits for support until further games, Switch gamers feel like 2nd class citizens because Xbox/PS4 get these no questions asked, don't want to "beg" for games and thus hold off".

Unless the install-base grows large enough/enough people think like I do, then I don't see that situation improving.

@Anti-Matter Has there been any confirmation of Sims 4 on Switch?
It'd be cool if it came, but I doubt it cause the game is a bit past it's prime and the Sims shines on PC the most thanks to modding.

I'd be happy to see it nonetheless, something other than FIFA from EA would be nice, although I personally wouldn't support them.

WarioIsTopTier

Octane

@Anti-Matter I have to agree with the post above. Just get Sims on PC, I don't know why you want to play it on a console anyway.

@Octane
I love to play The Sims on PC but I think playing The Sims 4 on console is easier and cheaper than PC version (Have to Online, create Origin account, installing, Buy tons of Expansion Packs, blah blah blah, etc).

Personally I don't really like to play PC games just because I can't play directly. I have to install them in very complicated way. And PC has shorter lifespan than consoles, so i'm afraid my precious Save Data will be gone unexpectedly due to Error inside my PC. Beside, PC consumes more Watt than consoles. I am not a PC gamer who looking for Ultra HD specs so I don't have to spend money again for Better VGA Card / Power Supply / etc.

If I have enough budget, I just want cheap Laptop with 2 / 4 GB RAM inside, strong enough to handle Stepmania (DDR Simulator and maker) so I can use my laptop to play Stepmania as Home Arcade of Dance Dance Revolution. Right now, my PC is just for working my pictures (Corel Draw & PhotoPaint X5), listening music, playibg MP4 video, browsing internet. No games at all.

FragRed

@BigYellow To be honest I didn't think the Sims 4 did that well, not when you compare it with previous instalments in the franchise. The screw up that was the typical EA launch and slow updates I think put a lot of people off the game.
