We didn’t get any news on yoshi. That was one game I thought we will definetely see.

Yeah, I am a little surprised by that, that game does seem like it's pretty far along to the point where we'd at least have a title by now. At this point we probably won't see it again until E3.

They may be holding up for a "surprise" launch announced a mere month prior in a mini direct.

Yoshi's Wooly world took a bit of a break in between events too. That one even changed quite a lot from the announcement trailer.

I bet we'll see Yoshi at E3 as one of Nintendo's fall titles.

Yoshi probably will be at E3. I guess Nintendo didn't want to have to many platformers in the first half of the year - they already have Kirby and Donkey Kong.
Yoshi may be an October title, I guess.

I'm surprised we got Kirby before Yoshi given that Yoshi had a treehouse segment and Kirby barely got anything shown.

I'm with the E3 people. I think it would play really well as part of their presentation. The perfect counterpoint to some of the heavier games they'll probably also present.

We didn't see Fire Emblem either, or many games for that matter. So I don't think this needs its own thread. Here's the Yoshi thread.
