I played the Wii U port for about 10 hours. Got some frame rate issues, but nothing game breaking. The game was ok, got really bored really fast. I mostly just invaded people's games but even that got boring.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@gcunit I played 20 hours of that garbage version. And either way you don't have to play the game to know it has awful framerate. Cause there's already videos showing the framerate of the port. And please don't say "It's fake!" One last thing 50 hours? What the hell were you doing?

I was enjoying myself on the campaign, taking in the Chicago sights, and playing the online invasions.

Thanks for pointing out that there are videos of poor framerate - I can disregard my own first-hand experience now... are you really suggesting that online videos are objective and definitive and can be relied upon to make final judgements about a game?

TwilightOniAngel wrote:

I'm not saying saying it's a bad game. If you read my comment,i said it was a half finished port that was sold for 60 dollars. An awful port at that

You said it deserves a bad rap. And you've used 'awful twice. That's not how you describe a game you don't think is bad. It's pure hyperbole to describe it as awful.

Does it matter if it's PEGI 7? You're on a Nintendo site! Playing games that are meant for kids. Ratings shouldn't matter.

Please re-read (or just read, if you haven't already...) what I wrote. Ratings mean nothing in terms of whether a game is any good, but in this case the difference in ratings reminds us that one is an adult-themed crime-drama, and the other is a light-hearted , child-friendly cops & robbers game. I.e. different enough to say that Watch_Dogs filled an otherwise vacant niche on Wii U.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

As far as the conversation goes, I agree with gcunit, though I must say, for disclosure, that I haven't played Watch dogs on Wii U, and was put off by the reviews. as far as wd2 goes, 'nothing to announce' doesn't mean 'no', at least. It just means 'we're not saying'...

Well I didn't play the Wii U version or any other versions of the original. I was also one of the many people who were seriously hyped about the game before it launched. If I was going to get it I would have got it on PC well before it came out.

But as it turned out during the months before and after Watch Dogs eventually did come out on Wii U? The Wii U got Smash Bros and Bayonetta 2. By the time there were some serious discounts going for Watch Dogs Splatoon was out on Wii U and GTA5 on PC. And at that point it didn't matter what other games I could play because I wasn't playing anything else.....

I hate Ubisoft games, they are just shallow clones of other games, like Gta for example. Games being milked etc. etc.
Havent bought a Ubi games in a decade (except Zombi U during a sale, which I havent opened yet, and might never open)

This straight up honesty is a million times better than the original Watch Dogs fiasco and a billion times better than the Rayman Legends mess. If Ubisoft ain't interested then I'd admire them for just saying it right off the bat rather than what happened with the Wii U. I know that Zombi U and the few ports they did were good but the way they handled the releasing of them as well as the borderline lies they spouted as to how those games sold and why they were abandoning the Wii U was just pathetic.

That's just my stance, if you've not got other consoles and appreciate the morsels that these 'AAA' companies give to Nintendo consoles then that's fine too but I'd much prefer clarity and honesty, somethings that Ubisoft often lack. I'll get Watch Dogs 2 on PS4 or Xbox One thanks if you convince me to buy it, at least then I get it at launch with the best performance and DLC options.

Judging by the Ubisoft E3 it looks like the only NX Ubisoft game is Just Dance 2017.

It is a shame for those that like Ubisoft's games and don't have other console.
In my case, the only Ubi game I have is a copy of Just Dance for Wii I got for Christmas some years ago, and from I watched this conference, I'm not really interested on what they have to offer. The reviews for the first Watchdogs were horrible and I don't think the second will be any better.

I have a chronic lack of time, for everything.

Now playing: Okami HD, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
