I'm not much of a manga person, or into books in general, so...yeah.

I would love a Sailor Moon game, but I would want it to be more along the lines of Bayonetta than the Warriors games (in Sailor Moon, they usually only fight one enemy at a time anyway). Perhaps the goal of a Sailor Moon game would be to find and destroy a threat whilst minimising damage to property and civilian casualties.

Eh they can find a way to make it work easily.

Neither Zelda or FE are known for the hordes of enemies you must fight at once either.

Bloop.

I'm not a fan of Warriors games at all. I find them to be mind-numbingly repetitive and tedious. I only bought Fire Emblem Warriors because I am a fan of Fire Emblem, and because the special edition included a 3 disc soundtrack. If not for the soundtrack, I may have even skipped the game entirely.

I might consider a "proper" Warriors game if one were to be released outside of Japan, and I suppose I would be keen if they released say, Dead or Alive Warriors, but I would much, much, much, much, much rather prefer a proper Dead or Alive game instead. Dimensions cemented itself as perhaps my favourite fighting game of all time and Tecmo Koei are killing me over here by not releasing V on Wii U or Switch (I am yet to play any other Dead or Alive game as they haven't been released on Nintendo systems. I was even strongly considering getting a PS3 at one point just to play Dead or Alive 5, which is the first and only time I have ever considered buying non-Nintendo hardware).

I got One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 on sale a few years ago. I do have to say that the mobs of enemies is very appropriate for a Shonen series like One Piece, as mobs of enemies are just a very common occurrence in a series like that.

However, I never got too far into the game... As others have said it felt repetitious and not very deep. There is, of course, strategy, but I just think the style of game just might not be for me. Although I do still kind of want FE Warriors, as I like FE characters but not necessarily the straight-up turn-based strategy of that series. FE Warriors is, of course, more action-oriented... But how repetitious OP Warriors kind of turns me off from trying other entries in the franchise.

And as much as I love Zelda I just don't really know about trying Hyrule Warriors. To me I just don't think the concepts of the Warriors series goes too well with Zelda... However, if people enjoy it, I'm glad it works for them.

Hey, if they can make freakin' AGITHA from TP a playable character, then they can make Sailor Moon Warriors a thing, easily. xD

I too have bought PW3 just recently for 5 bucks, because why the heck not. It was a perfect chance for me to find out if I would like the series or not.

While I never liked watching gameplay footage, the game did grow on me. The story progression I didn’t like, but the ‘free log’ (or whatever it’s called) is great fun. There is satisfaction to be had when you play very effective and pummel your way through hordes of enemies. I also like when you finally get into the groove of things, you do all kinds of crazy combo’s and then connect them into other combos which, creates this feeling of you being this relentless, unstoppable force.

Besides all that, the animations are superb and the huge roster is also a bonus. The weird and unlikely combination of characters and context they’re in also gives me a chuckle. This game is just ridiculous, in a good way.

Interesting read, this topic. I've actually had the same question ever since the Hyrule Warriors Direct. At that time, I really wanted to like a new Switch game since my backlog went dry. After a wachting a bunch of Youtube gameplay and review vids, I just couldn't get what's supposed to be fun about these games.

Interesting to see why people like games like these. I'm not judging, but I still think it's not for me. Well, a different game for everyone right
