This would be the Nintendo Life way. Close something down because someone doesn't agree or it's remotely similar to another garbage pile thread.

@Burghslim well it was no secret the VC was not released yet. Go ahead and return it and do someone else a favor that is looking for a Switch still.

Completely tongue in cheek but hey, it's hard to judge tone in written word.

The Switch is my first Nintendo console, so I have been really looking forward to the VC. If you're in the same boat as me, @Burghslim, I understand the frustration. I was hoping to be able to start playing some GBA Fire Emblem titles or Link to the Past by this stage. That said, I can't keep up with all the Switch games on my watchlist anyway - more in terms of time, rather than financially - so I can't complain too much.

For anyone who has come through the Ninty ecosystem, though, I don't see why this would be a big deal. How many times do you need to replay Super Mario 3 on a different system?
