I have a question about connecting my switch to the internet.
I have a usb c ethernet adapter that works well with the switch on undocked mode. to make it work on docked mode I am thinking on buying a usb c female to usb adapter. is this safe? would it work?
@askuach I'm no expert, but personally I buy official products or officially-licensed products only. Also, please can you explain what your original question means? I don't understand why you'd need to buy a second USB Adapter.

You can just use a USB 2 adapter in one of the 3 usb slots on the switch dock. Any type works (officially branded nintendo one is just a normal one with a logo marked up like 20 quid). They work fine and have been flawless for me personally

I'm not sure why you need all this. If you're using the dock, you just need a Ethernet to USB adapter (no C). The Amazon link above is a good example. The dock only has a USB C port for the adapter

Many thanks for your replies, guys. I purchased the USB-C (female) to USB adapter and the connection is working perfectly fine.
(I believe I did not explain properly in my original question, I needed the adapter mentioned before because I have a USB-C Ethernet adapter and the dock has no USB-C port)
