@SKTTR

I know everyone heaps praise on it anyway, but I still feel Okami is underrated. Just started playing my physical, now 6 hours in and it keeps making me smile because of its charm
I can't believe this game came out on the PS2! Feels ahead of its time and looks amazing still

Just got the physical from Signature Editions.
The graphics look like a painting, the puzzles are really cool, but there isn't much explaination of what to do, so you just have to keep on running around until you find the next part.
Otherwise loving it at the moment.
@jhewitt3476 No worries, it is a good game, but the controls take a bit to get used to and I have no idea how you are supposed to do the entire game without dying or completing all the mini games.
Fox and forests is a little hidden gem. Stupid name but great retro gameplay that really reminded me of megadrive games like lion king or vectorman. Great music and atmosphere.
@BongoBongo123 I had my eye on that on announcement and NL had an interview with the producer. Thought it was going to be a great game but got put off because of bad reviews.

The reviews weren’t bad, mayb a bit divisive. I would advise checking it out, maybe when theres a sale? The game mechanics are cool and satisfying and the story is quite funny.
Gonna go out on a limb and mention Hot Gimmick: Cosplay-Jong.
Sure, the whole fan service theming definitely isn't for everyone, but I've found the Mahjong matches themselves really addicting (it's real Mahjong, and not the Solitaire variant you usually see). I've actually been hopping online reading up on the rules, and I've even stayed up late into the night binging the game, which is honestly something I've only done with big adventure games such as Breath of the Wild & Xenoblade Chronicles 2 until now.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
@Nemodius I got Lumo and beat it in an evening.
While I think it's a good little throwback, I don't think it's an underrated gem.
I had some issues with it. First off, the games textures are compressed: Small texts are harder to read compared to the PC version. Also, it has a short loading time between each room. So the Switch version is certainly not the best version of the game, especially for speedrunning, unfortunately.
Other than that I found the map not really helpful (should I be thankful that at least there is one?) and the points of no return frustrating (when trying to 100% the game). It's still a good little puzzle platform / dungeon adventure with lots of retro cameos that is a lot more fun to play than the difficult, cryptic and dead genre it took inspiration from, thanks to its modern QoL touches.
Don't really get why so many people either mention some of the most praised (and probably sold) games of the indie scene (or even non-indie games like okami) like Axiom Verge, Overcooked or Night in the Woods on here.
I recommend:
Figment - An adventure game with a couple of interesting puzzles, great artstyle, great humor, but most of all: AWESOME music. Where else do you have boss battles, in which the boss sings you some sort of epic disstrack? Okay, apart from Mario&Rabbids. ;-]
Also:
Old Man's Journey - A puzzle game with an interesting mechanic (you have to shape the landscape to make it traversable). The game is quite short and doesn't overstay its welcome (the mechanic would otherwise certainly get old). The story is told with beautiful imagery and is quite poetic. It certainly is a game for smaller bursts and to relax, but for that it is well worth it.
