@Anti-Matter Can't compare to PS4, coming from PC, other than a noticable downgrade in graphics (but not bothersome) and longer loadtimes I haven't encountered anything negative yet.
Today was a little update and it feels a lot smoother now in crowded hospitals.

@Scollurio Yeah I’m definitely getting there with muscle memory. I have to pause the game to build rooms though as it takes a little while still. I also have problems in judging where I place objects such as benches and vending machines etc which is noticeable when trying to align them with walls. End up having to move them after putting them down.

The famous upgrade and i heard maybe there will be more patches in the future, the support from sega and the developer for this game is impressive , i am at two stars in the first hospital and so far I enjoyed the game a lot!! Smoothly and the graphics are fine
@FragRed
Ifyou press The minus simbol in the left joycon you can disable the auto item grid for better precision placement it’s work for alll items excluding door
Played a bit last night and really enjoying it. The controls aren't great though. I would have preferred to be able to use the touch screen (with stylus), and it's annoying that it wasn't implemented for the Switch version. Parity for the sake of parity with the dedicated home consoles sucks for those of us who mostly play handheld as some games could really benefit from the use of the touch screen. One would think that they would have implemented it for the Switch version given its PC roots.
And it was great that I could essentially ignore most of the tutorial pop-ups given that the game very much plays like Theme Hospital did back in the day, so those of you who fondly remember the original will feel right at home.

you can disable the auto item grid grip pressing the minus simbol on the left joycon when you are inside a room it's help for a little better precision to place staff and rotate it, it will never be like a mouse but is still good for a console, i dont think they could have done better than this.
i earned three stars with my firs hospital, now i am at the second one with one star, i finished to unlock and build the cardio
Btw. to all of you it's generally a good practice and perfectly fine to pause the game while building things, then even speed it up while you're researching and stuff. Usually you've got plenty of time. When there are emergency patients incoming, dont forget, you can always pause the game and edit the queue of the room in question to let emergency patients (marked VIP) get their treatment first! Manipulating gamespeed is one of the best features of it all!

@aresius You really are just at the beginning, wait till you see the more advanced gadgets and seriously silly ailments!
By the way, here's a tip for you: There are plenty of options for diagnosis like the ward (yes there's diagnosis done there as well), cardio and general diagnosis. But when you progress further you'll unlock more potent diagnosis rooms. You don't need all of them usually. If there is (I won't spoil here) a better diagnosis room you can usually avoid building the early-game-ones. Saves room and valuable diagnosis-time!

@Scollurio
i like to have every type of room just fo the sake of decoration/beuty, beside i heard as well some illness have better diagnostics with the low level room and the GP most of the time will send the patient to the room with the better % for that particular ilness.
i am having a problem with a challenge, shot 5 monobeast how to find them ?
@aresius They mean the "rats" running around when it's really filthy. On PC you had to click on them to kill them. Just look for them, best done in slow-mo-gamespeed! Happy hunting (and yes it's the most annoying challenges, don't like it at all, never did).

Just got three stars in the first hospital and I dawdled until I had at least $1,000,000 in the bank before I move on to the next hospital. A lot of my patients were dying off towards the end though. Three patients in the ward died within moments of one another. The staff room was really crowded as well. Bloody slackers.
It seems that you can also return to your previous hospitals, which is a very good thing, and I love the idea of being able to revisit and refine previous hospitals, and show them off to others without having to reconstruct them from scratch.
Really, really, really enjoying this so far, though there really isn't too much to do, gameplay wise, once the wheels are in motion and the hospital basically runs itself, though it helps to add extra staff (even if they're wandering aimlessly much of the time) and rooms to accommodate demand as the queues start to pile up. This will probably wind up being one of my most played games on Switch.

@Silly_G Yes yes you can revisit any already played hospital to rebuild or improve it. You can also make your hospital run more efficiently without adding extra staff if you micromanage your employees and train them (a bit later) to be specialists. For example have general doctors only for the general doctors practice, level I, II, III, IV or even V psychiatrist for psychiatry ... etc. The game opens up IMMENSELY with coming missions.

Loving it so far. I usually find simulation/management games a bit too hectic but this is quite a chilled out zen experience so far. Love the stupid humour.
The only issue so far is it can be a bit fiddly selecting people but hitting pause and then selecting them seems to be an ok solution.
I wonder if the Close Encounters DLC will come to this version?
@Scollurio
I am having some management trouble with the third hospital, but i started just know to train my 4 gp doctors i underestimated the power of training.
Another question how to increase staff happiness a part increase their salaries of course(i want to avoid to increase to much)
Oh cool!
The Switch price is actually pretty good considering it includes the DLC. On Steam at the moment the base game on PC is the same price without the DLC.
