There's nothing to really be satisfied about outside of seeing Star Fox in action, though. There were only 2 new games announced for Wii U, one which is a forgettable sports spinoff and the other which is an Amiibo cash grab. Pretty much as close to being an objectively bad lineup as you can get.
We seem to have been getting a lot of contradictory information on this. Is it a replacement for the Wii U, 3DS, both or neither?
Well because people seem to want to read into every sentence. The fact is they haven't said what it is yet. There's no contradictory information because there isn't any information

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"

I am excited for Yoshi Wooly World, Super Mario Maker, and Xenoblade. It doesn't matter that they were sgown off last year too since I am still excited for them. I am also excited for the Animal Crossing Party Game. I love the Animal Crossing series and am looking forward to experiencing the world/atmosphere in a different way. I find it difficult to call it a cash grab when it is FREE, you just need the amiibo which I would get anyways. Even if I wasn't, id you got 4 figures it would still be cheaper than buying a $60 game. I am not saying all Wii U owners are satisfied, but as a Wii U owner I am satisfied.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

So for all those current gen machines? When they launched they were "starting from 0". The software from the previous generation continued to sell because of the large install base. It's why those older platforms still get content. And why when Iwata was asked about Wii U software and the impact the NX will have on it? He responded by saying that when they release new hardware they're starting with an install base of 0. So we shouldn't worry about them cutting the flow of software from Wii U or 3DS because that'd be bad business.
If it starts from 0, that means it won't be based off of Wii U or 3DS, because otherwise it would at least start at 1. Yes?
No. It's referring to install base. There are currently 0 NX owners.
Welcome back, btw.
Sure. I just figured I'd give some input since I haven't been here in a while and I don't have anything to do. Lost 25 lbs. and got back in shape, etc, etc. That was the main reason why I wasn't here.
