I found a nice, ancient, sort of underground structure. But it was filled with tons of guardians so I noped out. Then I found a golfing mini game which I suck at. It's frustrating making my way to a tower only to find Ganon Goo surrounding it.
And I find it satisfying filling out the compendium. It gives me a Metroid Prime vibe and lord knows we've been deprived of anything Metroid Prime for quite a while.
@TsuriiDo you know how many of them exist? I've encountered the one in Faron and Lanayru, and I've seen another one briefly in Eldin, but he was too far away.
@TsuriiNaydra, Farosh and Dinraal in English. It's weird, it feels as if all the important stuff is in the east. The west part of the map is mostly empty. Most of the towns are in the east, the dragons and Godess temples are.
@Ryu_Niiyama Oh I'd be so guilty of that. Especially if I recognize what it is. If it's just some weird design or something it's one of those "once you see it you try not to pay attention to it because it's rude, but can't help but notice it", but if it's some Nintendo related thing it's more a "you just can't help but want to examine the detail and authenticity without looking like you're doing so" Awkward for everyone, and endless humor for you
The Naga one has to be subtle though. Only the true fans would notice. It wouldn't be right, otherwise!
Skyrim...I just don't know what to think. I loved Oblivion. It felt kind of like what BotW does, but less of it. But I loved it (so long as I avoided activating the main story which was terrible and ruined the entire open world once active...terrible decision.) I was so hyped for Skyrim and it felt so bland, boring, and empty. I got it for X360, played for maybe 10 hours, and then just kind of gave up. Nothing interested me in it. And that saddened me. Which is why I'm excited to buy it again on Switch. It gives me a chance to revisit it on a more convenient platform and try to really appreciate it . Plus, between that and Horizon I'm going to need something to fill the Zelda shaped void in my life after I'm done with it. Months from now.
Finally discovered the map of East Necluda and it's HUGE. It's overwhelming. It will take me a week just to explore it. Let's not talk about quests, Shrines and all other stuff. I think this game can take me even into summer...i'm scared i will not be that much able to do it, and i love it because of this!
Did the cursed statue quest. Really interesting! Now i stopped just outside the village near the researcher. Tomorrow gonna explore it
OK just dang it Nintendo. A BEAR?! A fricken BEAR? Like the goats aren't bad enough. I WILL find that one that punted me off a mountain....

I saw one of them in the snowy mountain north of gerudo.
Almost directly above the shrine where you need to shoot a thunder arrow at a giant target in the side of the mountain.
It was Farosh, to be exact, and it looked fine. No goo, like the other one I found.

I only seen one of those thankfully since they're tanks. Bears seem to take 10-15 arrows to defeat (don't remember how weak/strong my bow was though), it also helps to climb a tree then shoot at it.
