Topic: The best microSD card!

I have multiple photos/ videos on my Switch that I would like to have on my mobile device. I know that you can do it with a microSD card, but what microSD card should I get?

I don’t need a lot of storage, because when I download it onto my device, it will remove the data from the card (right?) and I would like a relatively cheap one. Any suggestions?

Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.

@BabyYoshi65 you should have a look on Amazon . They have some good prices on micro we cards. There's a 2TB micro SD CARD for 70 euro although someone told me there not great. But I would have a look at some of them anyway.

@BabyYoshi65 maybe you'd be ok with 16gb, but at that cheap, a 32 or 64 gb isnt much more. Just in case you find another use for the card later, you may find benefit of having a bigger card. Putting games on my card, It was easy to fill a 128 gb. So i got a 400 gb

@WoomyNNYes What else do you use a card for?

@Ninfan a legitimate 1T card is probably around 200-300+ euros on sale. I'm guessing based on what they cost here in the US. The fake cards never have the large capacity they advertise. The scam is, they say you have 1T free space, but maybe only actually have 16gb.

@Ninfan That's a very good question Its been so long, I don't recall where. But ive never seen anobody say they bought a crazy cheap card and said it worked as adavertised. I do know there is zero quality control on amazon & ebay, regarding verifying that sd cards are legit.

If you want to experiment out of curiosity, and gamble your money & time, you're welcome to try, and share the results. To be honest, I'd be worried about putting shady cards into my computer or switch, in general. With cybersecurity issues, I wouldn't be shocked if there could be malware on them. I've never heard of that being an issue with sd cards, but it's absolutely possible. In jobs with serious cyber security, you never use suspicious usb drives, because of potential malware/hacking. And a micro sd card has the same potential exploits.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

@WoomyNNYes Where you finding the 2tb cards at? I seen the 1tb so far only and for price the 400gb would suffice unless your loading upwards of 300+ then getting a 1tb as last resort.

WoomyNNYes

@SwitchForce Why? 2TB cards are everywhere 🤪 haha. Forgive my recklessness, I thought 2TB was entering market now-ish. I'll admit, I never looked for them, assuming they'd be ridiculously priced. So, far I've only seen 1TB.

Currently, I use a 400 GB with 115 GB free space.
