It's happening September 20th through the 23rd. Nintendo reps are attending the event for the first time in...I don't know how long. Mostly business I assume. The Switch is on pace towards becoming the #1 console in Japan before the end of it's second year on the market.
I'm not expecting much this year, but 2019 should be electric as more and more Japanese developers jump ship from the Vita to the Switch.

I honestly expect World Portable to happen...that's usually how it works. There's the main game, while the Portable team (Generations/GU) that expands or does their own thing with the base game.
If Squeenix pulls some release date for DQXI out of a hat I'll be impressed (and annoyed since I just bought the 3ds version lol).

Also seeing how the Portable team went ahead with giving Generations a G-Rank game, I assume World Portable Ultimate will happen as well. Still wished they would just give the Switch World itself instead, but oh well, at least there would be the chance of Prowler returning, lol

Keep it PG-13-ish.
For Capcom, we already know Ace Attorney will have a panel there. There's a good chance we'll see those rumored two collections and AA7 announced. I could see MH news or an RE port being announced by them, but that's about it.
Bandai Namco has a bunch of Toku games I'm interested in, plus Digimon Survive, FighterZ and Tales of Vesperia HD. I could see... I dunno probably a new licensed title or two being announced, but I'm not as sure that we'll see anything major. Maybe something to do with that 'new' Tales of for Switch that we heard about ages ago?
Koei Tecmo might announce a Warriors game for next year? Or a Nobunaga's Ambition, which we probably won't get.
Level-5 I'm honestly expecting to have some sort of major announcement, hopefully a new Layton game.
Sega... they'll probably announce something and I have no idea what.
Square Enix has that DQ XI they could bring up as Ryu brought up. I can't imagine what else they'd announce though, after the huge amount of FF for Switch that just was announced.
I think that's everyone? At least for major developers.
The only thing I'm expecting is the Final Fantasy XV DLC and modding stuff, given that the game's listed on the schedule and that's all left for them to show. That's PS4 and PC though.

Personally, I'm hoping more of those recently announced Final Fantasy ports get physical releases. Right now FFXII: The Zodiac Age is the only confirmed physical release of the nine FF games coming to Switch. World of Final Fantasy is getting a physical release on XBone, but a physical release hasn't been confirmed for Switch yet.
And what wouldn't I give to have a boxed copy of FFVII? The game that made Square-Enix abandon Nintendo all those years ago. It would be a unique experience to see that game come full circle. But right now, any info for Dragon Quest XI on Switch will undoubtedly grab the most press coverage from this event.

You would own FFVII on a Nintendo console, on a cartridge.
Huh!
Precisely. If FFVII were to get a physical release on Switch it would be highlighted front and center within my display cabinet for my Switch collection. An excellent discussion piece and delicious reminder that, "time heals all wounds." Sadly, chances are good that most of these FF ports will be digital only. Pity.

Yeah the Switch version would basically have it's own altered roster of monsters (with it's own new flagship and end game boss), and probably bring in a lot of new subspecies.
Honestly, I'm kinda hoping for an expanded version or a sequel of Stories, though.
