@Quarth Yeah the older Pro Controllers have a dodgy D-pad which makes it very easy to accidentally input the wrong direction. As far as I know this only affects the original black Pro Controller and the Splatoon one; I think they fixed it for the Xenoblade and Smash controllers, and probably the more recently manufactured black ones. It is really frustrating for this game especially though
I’d also like to know if there is a serial or model number on the box or controller itself that would allow us to determine which Pro Controller we have. I’ve not been 100% convinced of the quality of mine’s D-Pad but I also don’t think mine is as problematic as many have said it is for them. Be curious to know if mine is indeed the ‘faulty’ batch or not.

I found this reddit thread about the Pro Controller issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/7vxqsf/the_p...
It seems that in North America at least, the original batch had the product code 104889A, and subsequent batches have had the codes 104889B and 104889C. From the experience of the people in the thread, it looks like the issue has been fixed for some of the 'B' edition controllers and most of the 'C' edition controllers. There doesn't seem to be an entirely consistent explanation though, unfortunately. Basically, some Pro Controllers have the issue and some don't.
This game is so so perfect. I'm barely able to crack the top 20 most games but I'm having a blast with it! Tetris really is a timeless, perfect game and the fact we got it "free" makes it even better!
I have a launch day pro controller I've been playing with and haven't had any dpad issues. Hopefully I got lucky and got a good one!
I finally played this game today and right now it is completely useless as a portable game due to the only mode being an online-only mode. I don't even like the concept of battling all these people because it changes the concept of how Tetris is played and makes it too easy to have a bunch of people gang up on you at random. I mean it's a free game so it's hard to hate on it but I played the game and deleted it because I couldn't enjoy what is currently offered.
Does anyone know if they are adding more modes and content? If so it will get me to download it again.
Love the game. I just play my normal Puyo Puyo Tetris game for the most part and only clear lines quickly if threatened. I keep it on attack all the time and have quite a lot of success. Apart from the odd game I finish in the top 20 more often than not and many times in the top 5. I just finished playing 20 matches there and come first 4 times.
It's already one of my favourite games on the Switch!
@JayJ There were datamines that speculated to additional modes.
If multiple people are targeting you, that's actually a good thing. Flick the right stick down and target all of your attackers. You get a bonus the more attackers you have on your tail. You might be able to even KO unwittingly players.
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
