Topic: Switch + Dock ( differing regions, outcome? )

Hey,

So my mate is coming over from Canada next week and she’s bringing her Switch ( obviously ) and I wonder, what would happen if she was to put her Switch into my dock? ( UK )

Due to the differing power states between the UK and Canada

Would it function as expected? Would it damage her Switch or my Dock? 🤔

Likewise, if she were to bring her Dock and I put my Switch in her Dock..

@mist As long as the AC adapter is getting power at the wall, you’re fine. All the regulation happens at the adapter, not the dock. The dock is isn’t power/region restricted. Have fun.
