Meh - I think I will pass on that. DEFINITELY not worth the current $30 price difference ($29.99 at GameStop, and $59.99 at Amazon!!!). Think it will eventually come to Best Buy with or without the keychain??

MrCIB

@TalonMan That 59.99 price is only because Amazon sold out and the Scaplers (3rd party) prices is up now.

If Best Buy didn't get it yet odds are their purchaser didn't pick it up. This may have happen because the PS4 version didn't sell well and didn't want to take up shelf space. In any event I doubt it. Only game recent that got release close to or on release date at Best Buy was Darkest Dungeon/

@TalonMan yeah $60 is the 3rd party price. It should only be $30. I would recommend watching the page as it should come back in stock on Amazon.

I punted and just got a copy at GameStop - I had a TON of points I didn't even realize I had, so I cashed them in and got the Aqua & Sno Moto games, and Wild Guns for about $40 altogether...

@TalonMan Very nice!!

I know they're all shovelware, but alas purchasing them is an unfortunate requirement for anyone who wants to complete their collection...

...so, if I am FORCED to get them, there's no good reason to have to pay full price!!

@TalonMan Oh I know that. It’s not as bad as buying the aqua and snow UK version only to have to sell those and buy the US one cause you’re OCD about having a complete US collection 😜

Anyway of getting octopath wayfarer outside of eBay now?

I'm wondering (and I've already gone through with the purchase, so you can all either tell me I am brilliant, or call me an idiot!! ), do you think the keychain that comes with the PS4 version of Wild Guns is the same one that would come with the Switch version? I bought the PS4 version is on Amazon for $29.99 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N5D9SGF/

And after my GameStop coupons earlier, I had scored Wild Guns for $10.65... ...and I see that new PS4 copies of Wild Guns (without the keychain) are regularly selling for over $25.

Soooo.... ...did I do good? Or, are the keychains different and I just wasted money??

TalonMan

Polan18

@TalonMan From what I can see on eBay, it’s the same keychain that was given out with the PS4 version.

A new physical Switch game could get funded by you! I backed it...will you?

P.S. The campaign is off to a great start and will most likely happen!!

Don't trust Fig. Kind of a long watch but a good PSA about Fig.

Either way, I don't think it is anywhere near a good idea to hide print runs behind a promise of maybe making a game in the first place. To me, this is bad news bears. Game crowdfunding is also a major hit/miss unless backed by a reputable company.(For example, whenever Materia Collective kickstarts a VG inspired music album it goes off perfectly from start to finish).

IMO if it is a crowdfund exclusive, I don't consider it something I will worry about. Plenty enough good games as it is to buy, and NIS wants to suck my wallet dry, so I'm good NOT gambling $125 on a game that I might not even like.

So what’s going on with this blazblue collectors edition? It says it can only be ordered online from their website which is currently under developement... but it’s supposed to go up on Thursday. Is this website going to be ready?

So the megaman/rockman x collections are up on the eshop for future games. The japans eshop has rockman x 2 has the symbol for English as a language. Does that mean it’ll have english on the cartridge too?

I saw earlier someone say that the Japanese naruto trilogy Japan version doesn’t have english and the Japanese naruto trilogy on the shop does not show the language english symbol so in theory the cart wouldn’t either for those who buy the Japanese cart?

Hopefully this makes sense lol.

Bump. I've been wondering about this as well. Definitely plan on ordering, just not sure how yet lol

Ok - need some enlightenment from my fellow collectors here (especially @MrCIB as he seems to have an incredible insight into all of this stuff - LOL!!!!). And by the way, ALL of this is completely out of character for me as I NEVER sell my games!!!!! But in this one particular case, I've made an investment choice which I'm hoping to capitalize on for the sole purpose of keeping up with my NIS purchases which are costing me a small fortune...

Anyway - awhile back, I had posted a comment asking about the various differences with Island Flight Simulator (in particular, what seemed to be an extremely costly version of the UK import). I, myself had already just picked up (what I believe to be) an Italy import for about $35:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Island-Flight-Simulator-Nintendo-SWI...

It was only after I purchased it, that I noticed a UK version of this game which seemed to have a MUCH higher selling price (not listed, but actually SOLD) - where this version was selling for at least twice (sometimes three or four times!!) the value.

Well - just now as I was poking through my purchases to see what I had and what was still outstanding, I came across this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079R9DZPL/

There were three copies available, each listed for $39.99 (obviously, I ordered all three!) - and I'm wondering whether I have, in fact, made a wise investment? Or, is it "flukey" that the UK version was selling for those high rates?

I know this all seems very hypocritical of me considering my rant last month about eBay scalpers - and trust me, I feel dirty just doing this!!! But I only plan to sell two of these games (I'm absolutely keeping one for myself!), with the proceeds going right back into my collection, anyway... ...so was this truly a lucky find? Or, did I just waste $120? Does anyone have information as to whether the UK version truly is as "rare" as I'm led to believe???

...and again - please do not hold any of this against me, for my intent here. I honestly don't think I've sold a SINGLE game in my entire life (whatever I buy, I keep forever - I mean that!). This just seemed like a handout I could really use, in order to help payoff some of these more expensive games on my shopping list before my wife divorces me.
