Switch for exclusives, PS4 (non-pro) for exclusives, PC for everything else.
If I had to choose between Switch and PS4? It would just depend on the game.

The bad Switch is taking over and games and are being developed for all consoles so it's not just depending on the game that was past thinking not anymore. Developers the smart one are moving past this mindset. Example Witcher 3.

Just about everything really, I'll double dip on some games, like I'll wait for a samsho deluxe edtion for ps4 but almost every multiplat I buy on switch first. Switch is the only system I have enough time to play to beat games.

I only have Switch, but i am thinking about getting a PS4 Pro because Switch is missing an entire genre (third person shooters) which i am craving at the moment. I previously had an Xbox One but the exclusives are terrible imo.

@Ninja84, even as someone who chose PS4 over Xbone because I prefer it's lineup, I'm struggling to think of many TPS' that wouldn't also be on Xbox, as it's a pretty western dominated genre, and western devs almost always support both systems.

In terms of exclusives I guess there's the Order: 1886 which is decent, but other than that I'm not sure what else in the genre it has exclusives wise other than maybe the Uncharted games & tLoU, which are supposed to be great, but I'm not sure what the ratio is between the TPS elements & the platform adventure elements.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

example of 3rd person shooter???? missing one genre if that all it takes for one to dimiss the Switch doesn't add up. PC Gaming rig does better for hardcore if you want 60fps with 4K gaming.

@RR529 My choice of platform wasnt based on exclusive TPS game but more in general. Both Xbox and PS have plenty of TPS games. The reason i’m thinking about purchasing one of these is that the Switch doesnt have any besides Sniper elite 2 & 3. The Two exclusives you highlight are big selling points alongside Spider-man and Days gone.

I usually go for the Switch version unless the PS4 version is far superior or is much cheaper.

A good example is Dragon Quest XI. I own both the PS4 and Switch ports. In my opinion the Switch port is the superior version. Sure the PS4 version looks a little better but the difference is quite small and the Switch version has a lot of extra content and quality of life improvements. At this point for those who own both consoles I recommend the Switch port every time.

For musou games I'll go PS4 as I don't think Switch is capable of proprly handling them. Also the best Musou game in existance DW8-XL is a little too expensive on Switch to be worth it. Also I don't know how well it performs on Switch.

For 99% of the indie games they are either Switch exclusive or play just as well on Switch.

Also as a random aside, most of the big PS4 exclusives I don't really like. I actually bought the PS4 (slim) for P5, DQXI, DQH1/2 and DW8-XL. As none of them were on the Switch at the time.
Also I prefer the Switch Pro Controller to the DS4.

@the8thark for one thing trying taking your ps4 system on the bus and see what you have to do for power and monitor. Not going to happen with all weight being carried. Switch it's already to go and you don't need external power to play it.

@SwitchForce For those who have portable play as a priority, only the Switch fits the bill as you correctly answered.
However for those who only play tethered to TV's and larger screens then it's a much tougher question.

Do you know the Switch can dock and play on larger TV and Larger Screens. Your own reply is so misleading.
