I am going to England with my grandson so will he be able to use his Switch there? I heard if you don't use the plug for the Switch it could mess up the graphic ? Is this true?

@wanda48 I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say, but you don't have to worry about the difference in voltage. Just make sure you use an adapter for the plugs, because the US plugs won't fit in a UK socket.

Ok thank you it was a friend of mine had a Switch and she used an adapter but it wasn't for the Switch but it worked and it messed up her grandsons switch

@wanda48 Oh yeah, make sure you use the official Nintendo Switch adapter. Don't use your phone's adapter for example.

I mean, you can in theory, but you need to be sure that it supplies the right voltage and amps. But if you're not familiar with any of that, just stick to the official adapter.

However, you can (and need to) use of these US to UK plug adapters if you're travelling to the UK;
