In this thread we'll compile a list of which Switch games have reversible covers. If you don't know what that is, it's when the paper with the box art can be removed from the box, then turned inside out (it may require gentle folding) to have a new box art. It only counts as reversible if the inside also have the spine with the title on red background and the Switch logo on the top left of the front. Reversible covers are great because they make your games look a bit more unique. It has also become relevant because big download warnings sometimes ruin Switch games. Anyhow, here is the current list from my collection:
.
Bayonetta 2
The reversible cover shows Bayonetta 1, which is included as a download code.
Binding of Isaac
Disgaea 5
All of the characters standing on white background.
Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze
A full page image of Funky Kong is this games alternative covers front. The back describes the Funky mode.
Final Fantasy XII
A brand new artwork made by the original artists of the game is the reversible game of this game. The spine of this cover is white.
Namco Museum Arcade
A bunch of the games are flying through a space background on this games reversible cover.
Onimusha
Only released physically in Japan.
Retro City Rampage
Multiple alternative box art available.
Sonic Mania Plus
Reversible cover is Sega Mega Drive themed. Makes it look like a game for that console.
Splatoon 2
Windjammers
YS VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana
The main character stands in front of the jungle of the island the game is set on. The backside contains artwork that might be considered a spoiler for the game: Dana in the past standing in front of her city.
.
Keep adding to this list. I am very curious which games have reversible covers.
With over 400 physical releases this is going to be a long list.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,251 games (as of April 24th, 2024)

Well, first of I had 8 games in my collection and only 2 of them had reversible covers, so if my collection is typical the list will only be 100 games long. Secondly, we have a similar long list that covers the file sizes of various Switch games and that list works well.

Fair enough.
I'll take a look later today and see what I've got, but I'd imagine the number is well under 100.
I'll start with Retro City Rampage, which comes with multiple different cover art inserts.

Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade 2 both have reversible cover art. The original Xenoblade did as well, but that's a Wii game.
Breath of the Wild does not have reversible cover, it just has art on the inside. For it to count as reversible, it must have a red spine with the title, as well as a top left Switch logo on the inside. If you reversed the Breath of the Wild cover it would not look proper in your shelf.
Edit: After googling it, it will appear that neither does Xenoblade 2.

Nothing is really stopping you from reversing any cover. Make it what you want.

Yes, you could also just print your own cover, but this thread is about which games have proper reversible covers with spines and logos in the right place.
