I've been meaning to put this up for a while now but it is a becoming quite annoying that many games on the eShop use screens that seem to be from other systems' versions of the games they represent. Any thoughts? Is this even legal?
Just picked up Megaton Rainfall and the screens on the eShop and the video are the same as on PSN. Having flown to the ringsof Saturn I couldn't see any of the rocks shown in the trailer.
This isn't the first time, Furi obviously uses screens from other versions since the screens and video have the dynamic shadows, as do the screens for NBA Playgrounds which are not present in the Switch versions of those games.
I'm sure there are many more but it is a bit disappointing that we can't really trust the screens to be truly representative of the products.
I also seem to recall Microsoft getting into trouble a few years back for using Playstation screens and videos from Final Fantasy 13 in their advertising.
