Topic: Switch acting wonky. VERRRY wonky.

So recently, my Switch has been acting INCREDIBLY odd.
1. In Smash Bros. Ultimate, sometimes the characters and stages will get black blocks around them, sort of like them getting blocky but just black strips around them. It stays for about two rounds at a time, and even in the Camera Controls and the results screen. Also, during Mob Smash w/Mario/Luigi, the software closed "due to an interruption" A LOT.
2. In Mario Odyssey, (this typically happens after a cut scene) the screen will just get all weird, and sometimes there's a multicolored flashing light.
3. Most important: in the sub-menu when you hold the home button, the text doesn't appear. The symbols, numbers and time are all there and fine, but the words/letters are nonexistent. Same with the alerts you get: Low Battery, one of your friends is online, etc. The letters are replaced with little blocks.

So, if anyone can do anything about this or tell me tips, PLEASE do. It's acting mighty annoying.

If it was a PC, I'd say it sounds like your graphics card is overheating. You'll probably have to send it in for repairs.

@CurryPowderKeg79 Welp, the text is appearing now that I tried restarting it, 1/3 normal again!

I would say you also need to contact Nintendo Support ASAP about the issue as well. As if it is under warranty there is nothing anyone here should tell you to do otherwise.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. It's working like a charm now that I powered it off (seems like a no-brainer). Only had one software close since!!!! Thanks to all that helped!
